Trenz Valance is a P-I-T-A to install!!

Well I got around to installing the Trenz Valance (bottom grill) today which I bought like 2 months ago, and it is a bish to install! .. I couldn't understand how it would bolt on, had like 2 nuts/bolts with it and that's it. And the instructions that come with it aren't even worthy of being called a joke . You have to take off the 2 splash guards under there, which are also a p-i-t-a to take off, I only took off one of them and worked around the other one. And I ended up securing the grill on there with zip ties! My front neon tube for the underbody kit is in the same spot where the valance goes, so I secured it on to the tube with a bunch of zip ties, it seems pretty solid but hope it doesn't fall off on the highway or something . But in any case, that thing has no fitment in that spot whatsoever, I had to bend it and what not.. they need to make a better version.

How about people here who have the trenz valance, any problems with installation? either I'm too stupid or god knows what.

Once it is on though it will look nice. Think of that in the meantime.

I have a 97 SE. Yeah it looks nice, but after all that work I was almost beginning to think if it was really worth it , but hey it's all good. One of my neon tubes is blown and my neons aren't working right now, so I won't be able to see how the glow inside the valance looks until it's fixed (that's what I wanted to see the most ever since I bought the valance).

I have the same setup you have in neon....
I have two tubes

STREET GLOW Neo-BLUE 20" Neon Accent Tubes

Under Front Bumper-behind stillen lip.....
Inside Front Valence behind billet insert

I was just going to say the bars that come with it tighten up horizontally on the the plastic bars that go vertical in the middle of the opening they tighten up on them....

what i did was get two pieces of metal (abour .5" x 9") with holes punched through it in the middle. i bent them into "u" shapes. i bolted one end to the grill & the other end screwed in the bottom of the car by the radiator. holes already there.
