Replacement Key
I bought my 96 max used, and I'm pretty sure it came with the original key, which is kinda worn down (but still works). I don't have that tag that originally comes with the key, so I was wondering if it was still possible to get a freshly-carved key from nissan (without having to re-key everything)? And if I can, does anyone have any idea how much it might cost?
Thanks

Yep, you can. I got 2 fresh new copies of the unique 4th Gen key design. I don't think you should pay more than $15 for a brand new OEM key + carving. I'm not positive on this estimate, I'm just trying to remember back to the day when I did the same thing.
Speaking of keys, does the 5th Gen key fit in a 4th gen? Because I like the newer shape better...
