Get some fishing line or waxed dental floss. Using either of them, slide it behind the to be removed and use a sawing motion to cut through the adhesive. Once the emblem is off, peal as much off with your fingers as possible then use adhesive remover (3M makes a good one) or some Goo-Gone or comparible remover. The remaining glue should come right off. Wax it when your done and the job is complete.

Try using a hair dryer to loosen the glue up first. Then saw away. Adhesiver remover, then wash and wax.

when you apply the goo gone stuff, use a cloth rag, not paper towels because they'll scratch the paint like woah! i learned the hard way. btw, search!

Yeah, but people know it's a Maxima already. No need to advertise. Besides, the weight reduction from taking the tag off lessens your 60 time by .0000000001 seconds.

I learned the hard way as well, be VERY careful in what kind of adhesive remover u use, I used detachol, and it raped my paint completely.... oh and I thought my fingers were nimble enough to use a metal tool to scrape the rest of...
