2002 maxima versus a Viper...Video....

Actually there are two videos. Only one of him against the Viper.

As stated previously traction was terrible, as you will see.

I think I have a third Video of Daniel, if so I will upload it as well.

Viper = Fast!

What type of tranny did the 2k2 Max have? Intake etc?
Got pretty good trap speeds!

14.7, i'm guessing a stock auto, but could be wrong as the traction was terrible

If you don't have the latest Media player, it won't play.

You also may have problems streaming from a slow connection. I set it for 56K or better, but some ppl with 56K have complained they can't see the video.

Nobody ran well that night. I couldnt break 15.4. Daniel has a cone filter and cat-back on his 2k2. His previous best was 14.3. The viper was spinning most of the way down the track. When he tried to keep traction, the best he did was 13.9 ugh...

Oh yeah, I was the highly skilled cameraman for both of those runs

Yeah I know that's not much for a viper, and I also know that you could've taken him.

The guy driving the Maxima cant drive at all. Last week when the track wasn't flooded - the best 60' he could pull was 2.10 - but he only did that 8 times in a row - all with times in the 14.3's. As for the first run against the Viper, he just let it spin 'till it caught.

Completely Unskilled 17 year-old driver,
Daniel

Just wait until tomorrow night; I will teach that stupid kid how to drive his car as long as the track isn't soaked again.

I'm not a stupid kid, but I don't think I shift very well. I punch the clutch just enough to shift and after I get it in gear (thank god for synchros) the RPM's should be about right, so I slip the clutch until I can feel the rev's match, then I quickly drop it the rest of the way out. How's that sound?
