Ugh, this board is killin' me with it's server issues. Again...I was saying, being a girl USED to help, when I was 16. hehe It has long since stopped doing that. Of course, when you loose your license twice as a habitual traffic offender, you can expect that. My insurance...pure evil. It's the price you pay for driving something that gets attention. I had one accident that wasn't my fault 9 years ago. My Brother, wrecked 6 cars in 5 years, including one of my Mustangs. Never lost his license. Go figure. I may be a tomyboy, but I am not above crying my way out of a ticket. Oh, and ***** help

a total of 4 people and a trunk full of luggage. Lil Rat pulled on me slowly and it Ticked me off !@#!@#%$ , but a loss is still a loss.

I got owned by a black 92-94 Civic Hatchback! I pull up next to the guy at the light and he asks if I want to run...I'm like why the hell not he looks like a typical ricer with fake gauges...I'll burn this ricer. But when he started to rev his engine I could tell he was no ricer...you could hear his turbo whistle! The guy takes off like a bat out of hell. By the time I'm going 30 this guy is atleast 6-7 cars in front of me. I kept going until 70, by this time he so many cars in front I couldn't tell how many he beat me by. I finally catch up with him at the next light and ask him what he has and what he runs. He wouldn't really tell what he had other than a turbo, but I already knew that. He claimed he runs high 11's! He also said he has beaten a Viper and a Z06, and from the looks of the way he raped me I believe it.

Just a couple weeks after I got my Max, driving I85 from Montgomery to Richmond and this POS-looking Cavalier is merging, sees my Max and punches it to get ahead, so I punch it, too. About that time I heard his exhaust go bwaaaaaaaaah and he took off like a bat out of hell. I got a closer look before he pulled on me and there was nothing left inside but a roll cage and a couple racing seats, and some fat tires. That was no normal Cavalier.

....out of all the cars i had to catch this one. im tell u i thought it was a ricer or imitation or something with a bunch of stickers and the whole nine yard. well my run in was with a 2nd gen mitsu eclipse earlier on this year as i came up behind it i read the license plate that said OSOFAST. (that wast the last time i saw tha plate either) now at this time all i had was an intake and thats it. well i remembered the osofast eclipse ive seen in tubo magazine several times which runs very low nines, and probably high 8's by now. well naturally i though it was some1 imitating the car, some guy probably early to mid 30's was driving it with the window down, now i know i cant beat a turbo eclipse but i wanted to see how fast this one really was, his window was down and were were cruisin at about 50mph and i yelled over to him, is that this as fast as it looks or its all show, he yelled back its got some *****, not too bad. i knew he would race so i just punched it a few sec later, im goin 80 at this point when i hear this wicked turbo just wind up, ive never heard one so loud, he just got right next to me and thats when i knew i was royally screwed. he changed gears and that BOV near made me deaf it was so damn loud, by basic reaction was OH SH*T, thats when i looked over at him, he just smiled and punched it, i never seen a car disapear so fast, i mean it was literally a white streak i just sat there for about 20sec wondering what it the world just happened, i was speechless. i needed binoculars to see the damn car. im sure he was playin too. that the first and last time ive ever seen that car in person. that thing is a freakin beast, i still cant get over how fast that thing took off.

you got cought sleeping on the Merkur XR4TI. cosworth motor with a turbo, all he has to do is up the boost. i loved that car cause it was fast as hell. my uncle raced that thing everywhere until he shot a piston through the hood.

as for getting beaten;
i got thrashed by an S500/600 benz. it was 12:30am and i was on the Rte 9 to I-9N ramp. the whole way arond this ramp the guys is tailing me close, real close. i'm like who is this ******* behind me. so i sped up to about 90mph and go about my business, the guy is still on me. as i downshift to 4th he pulls around to my right and draws up to my window, i punch the gas and start to get ahead of him. he is still at my door at 120mph so i figure this guy is a poser with his weak *** S320 i slow down to 110 and flip him the bird and and punch the gas again. i was sooooo wrong, the guy hits the gas adn the whole back end of the car drops like some extra weight just got dropped into the trunk. the takes off like a ****** drag bike by the time i got to 120 (from 110) the guy has like 1/8 of a mile on me. the guy slows down at the next exit so when i finally puled up to give him the thumbs up (humbled) his girl is sitting on the pasenger door with her legs in the car. she slaps her but and blows me a kiss.


only then did i realize how bad it was. i drove home doing 55 so nobody else would mess with me on the way home.

Actually the Merkur doesn't have the European Cosworth version. It has an iron block/iron 2 valve head that has more in common w/ the older Pinto engine(yes Pinto). But it's a stout one and the iron block/heads actually make it boost friendly. It made decent power for no stock IC or BOV of any kind. I used to have a 1988' Merkur. Very still chassis(seam welded panels vs spot welds like 99% of most cars). My wastegate actuator broke and I was peak boosting to about 19lbs a few time. That made it pretty fast(until I fixed the actuator).

93 accord with header, intake and catback vs me (with only fstb - a few months ago) he had me by a hood length the first round - it was wierd.......but the second time i owned him by 3 cars

I was in my 5.0 stang and Im at the street races and some kid in a galant lines up with me I start to blow him off but he wants to race me so bad I go ahead and line up with him and he blows my doors off turns out this POS has AWD & Turbo it was so sad he pulled 4 cars on me before i stoped spinning

I was in my old 78 malibu , it was quick 350, 4spd,headers glasspack combo the usual stuff got blown the F**k away by a POS civic hatch! I couldnt believe it a civic beat me! We stopped at the next exit and as I pulled up I saw that the interior was completely stripped exept the racing seat,short shifter,roll bar,and the multitude of engine and turbo management gear.That was when I was introduced to import performance.He killed me , I was lucky I could see what exit he pulled off at! Oh well thats my sad story.

Hm...I got burned by a heavily modded Neon at NED (he pulled on me by 2 car lengths)....and another time, I was racing a CRX, also at NED...I pulled on him, but I hit my rev limiter and he pulled ahead and I wasn't able to catch him

The worst I have ever bean beat was by a 2002 Corvette. It wasn't a ZO6, but it was still fast as hell. We were sitting at the light both revving our engines ready for the green. The light turns and we both take off spinning the tires. He just inched on me in 1st gear. We both shifted into second about the same time and his car just took off!! I was like . Man that car was fast. I hit 3rd gear and he had about 2-3 car lengths on me and pulling. You win some and lose some.

I got raped by a Pontiac Grand Prix at a light yesterday.

I was revving my engine listening for problems with my SC. He thought I was racing.

Light changed, he goes off. I had to shift back into D, and then floor it. Then I got stuck in traffic.

I have some surprising ones that ive beat as well as ones ive lost too. My 87 beat my friends 96 off the line, he claimed his lane was wet, prob right, but it was my claim to fame against his car. Second, I raced a 98 accord on the highway the other day and we stayed even for a while and either his limiter woudlnt allow him to go any faster or he just didn't and i beat him at 107. However, i did loose to my friends 87 prelude once, quick little car, and was even with my friends 93 probe, but eventually he pulled away.
