Awesome. Question, where did you mount the starter and ballast? What tools were needed to complete the install, any drilling?

Excuse me I think I'm having a pre-mid-life crisis, first the 18" rims, who knows what next?

Re: Re: Hanabi HID kit installed today

The only install item you need are some wire taps from Radio Shack to tap into the power. Because the stock headlamp has 3 wires and you only need the two, it's a good idea to test the wires you are splicing into. You can use a multimeter or line tester.

As for mounting, the kit includes screws, mounting plates, foam adhesive pads, zip ties... everything you need. Just put them where you think they are out of the way.

Mid-life crisis? You're not that old are you?

I mounted the driver side ballast behind the CAI and Battery, I drilled a small hole in the mounting bracket so that the existing bolts on the car would fit it, ran the wires to the starter underneath the battery mounted the starter on the side of the battery, on the passenger side, I took the mounting bracket and use another bolt and nut to secure it on the radiator support beam, and then I mounted the starter next to the coolant resevior, yes I got the blues, they are wonderful. yes freddie you told me so

Sorry there is way too much that comes up under search function on this.

Do these Hanabi HIDs have HI and lo beams?????

What power can you get them in? just 6000k

whats the best? 9000k?

Is there any limits on this rating?

Peace

They do not have high beam functionality. To signal other drivers, you can flash them on/off or use your fogs. The visibility is better so you may not need the high beams.

They are 6000k. That is color temperature not power rating (watt) nor light output (lumens). Regardless, there is no "best" ... it is up to individual taste as to what looks best. That said, the Hanabi's look awesome.

I would not get the H3 fogs. Because they are low near the ground, it is difficult to point them right so that you avoid blinding oncoming cars. That would be unbelievably bright combo though! In any case, I like yellow foglights...
