the ghost lines disappear. I have a 96 Black SE and I just removed my emblems in the back. I still have very little glue to remove cause I didn't have time to do it all at once. There is still imprints of the emblems. Someone said wash and wax, wash and wax.. and eventually it'll blend in.... can I use acetone or something like that to remove the dark ghost lines, (not glue, more of an imprint)
it looks tacky right now cause you can tell I just did it..
Thanks for any info.. Oh, I did my pintstripes long time ago and now I can't even tell but that was like almost 1 year ago.

Once you get the gunk off and wash/wax the area, the sun should do the rest of the work...just like with your pinstripes. What year is your car? I took the stripes off of my 95 about a year ago and the green paint underneath was only slightly darker than the rest of the car.

Yeah, I washed it, put a little bit of wax on there but i think it's too noticable.. I used acetone and tried to remove more but it just ended up putting some light scratches on the paint... damn, I hate maxima paint... I used to be a detailer and I hate maintaining this paint...

Give it a month or so. WD40 works wonders at removing gunk. Just clean the area quickly after using it and don't do it in the sun. I too have a black 96 SE and I had the ghost outline for a while. I washed it, waxed it, and left it. A month later I noticed it was gone.
