H9 Bulb?????

Anyone know about the H9 bulb? Has anyone heard of this one before? I know I haven't. I need to know about this for a "personal car" project. Thanks

Look at the 90mm headlamps. Part numbers 68136 and 68137.

Here are pics of the lamps.

THe H8, H9 and H11 have just passed the certification stage in Europe. These have not made their way to North America yet. THe newest bulb we have here is the H7. THe H9 is similar in construction to the H7, but has a angled plastic base (cheaper to produce). The angled base configuration allows it to fit in tighter spots between the radiator mount and headlamp housing.

BTW, Ken @ Susquehanna is a good person to do business with. I have had few conversations with him concerning custom and aftermarket replacement Hella products.

THe only reason I steer clear of these 90mm modular units is due to the fact that the H9 bulb is nearly impossible to get here in NA.

There are 120mm and 90mm projectors available that use the H7 bulb, but those are not sold by Ken and are pretty hard to come by.
