Rear sunshades in the I30/I35 you can buy!

I thought you guys might be interested in this. This is handy if you don't have tint. You can now buy the rear sunshade, yes powered, for your rear of your car.

http://www.dashcover.com/access.html

Pretty resonable. $69 bucks...

That is so cool. I think it's a good deal even at the "regular" price of $89.95....

My dad's S500 has one, it's more useful than you might think...

It does look good. But they lost me when they said it "Operates on three 9 volt batteries". Would have like it if you can supply power from the car.

You can go to radio shack and get the stuff to run it off the car, it wouldn't take much.

what about the factory rear sunshade from the i30/ i35? i think that would be a better fit and would be more integrated than this aftermarket one. does anyone know how much the OEM one costs?

The kit doesn't say where the one touch button is...so its prob. on the device itself....real annoying if your in the front and want to open it...

"Sunroof and Sunshade Package" is $1380 for the i35.
assuming the sunroof option itself costs the same as the maxima ($899)

$1380
-$ 899

using this logic the sunshade would cost $481 dollars. but it would almost certainly cost more if you got it installed afterward.

I am sure you could pop it open and run cabling to the front very easy.

Re: Rear sunshades in the I30/I35 you can buy!

I just measured the top of my rear window - 43 inches. They say to measure and then subtract 5", choosing the one closest in size. Their smallest is 39-5/16". Think it will fit? It isn't like the Maxima has the smallest rear window ...

What do you guys think about installing this on the windsheild for when you leave your car parked in the sun? Sure would be better then those silly looking "car sun glasses"

Has anyone bought one of these or looked into the I30/35 version?
