I was driving on the interstate yesterday when all of a sudden my ABS, AIr Bag lights all came on and started blinking. I thought I had an electrical problem, but it was actually my battery that went dead cuz it wasn't charged. I pulled off the road barely and then couldn't start up the car.

Anyhow, I found out that my Alternator was shot. Let you warn you now, IT IS VERY HARD TO REPLACE I ended up busting the Tighten rod to the belts ( that needs to come off before any work can be done) Finally got the alternator replaced but now I have to wait till tomorrow to replace the tightening rod I busted.

did your car make wierd noises at night while the radio and heat and headlights were on?? - i think my alternator is about to die as well

 

Actually, my car just started to shut down little by little.
