Hello fellow members! I was wondering since Freddie sold so many Hanabi HID Kits on this forum, if anyone was able to change the HID bulbs to some other kind other than the one it came with. I do like the blue ones I got, but since I live in Southern Cali chances of me getting the purple bulbs and getting pulled over are very high. Since the Hanabi is a 6000k application, I was wondering if anyone was able to get like a 4300k or a 5400k bulb working on the Hanabi kit. I bought a very "Ghetto" HID kit at first and it worked cleanly for about 2 days. The color of the 5400 bulb was awesome, a lot of white light, with a touch of blue. Much brighter than what I have now. I would like to go back to this bulb, but do not know where I can get the bulbs. Freddie said he couldn't get any other type of bulb except the 6000k ones, so please, someone help me out. :-(

 

So does that mean my Hanabi burners are 6000k? I talked to some guy at www.autolites.net and he said that I have to splice some wires or something. Is that true?
