ate 2 bmw's for breakfast...

now that i own a civic, i have learned to drive at moderate speeds, but today my dad let me use the maxima, yeah! so on my way to school i come in contact with a new(99+) bmw convertible(coupe and i think a 328i). well there are 2 guys in the car, and they are next to me at the light. i look over and the driver gives me the finger! i thought to myself, "WTF!!". he starts revving, and at green, we were off(i never race, but the finger! whats his problem?). i had him the whole race, only went to 80mph, but i had 3 car lenghts at least, next light, he gives me the finger again, dumbass. i felt good about myself at that point, then i come up to another bmw(older coupe, also convertible), this time i start revving, there was some young guy in the car, so i was hoping he would race, and he did, at the light, he jumped forward, had a half car on me until i hit 50mph or so, then i owned him had a car and half to 2 cars on him. what a fun day i had, to bad i get the civic again tomorrow. how did your day start off, good?

328i is not much faster than a 4th gen, and you were in a 5th gen. Convertibles usually weigh more than coupes/sedans, thus they're a bit slower.
It always feels nice to beat an expensive German car

not really feels the same as beating a civic "why did i just waste my gas.." however the HID's do look nice when they fade into the distance

since the M5 came up i want to ask a question. a few weeks ago my friend told me "my dad's friend just got a new M5 convertible" then he went on to talk about how he hopes the guy lets him drive it. my response was "they make M5 convertibles?" i'd bet money that they dont make an M5 convertible but i dont know everything. they dont make one, right?

Maybe he wanted the race and did it to get you going. Mission Accomplished.

Or maybe your Dad beat him the day before.

haha, that wouldn't surprise me at all, he always races people in his van, that thing only has 150hp, its slow, but he loves to floor it, though i think he's intimidated by the max's power
