Can someone explain to me why some people have trouble with their wiring when installing the new high out put headlights? If you know a web site that explains the problem, that would be helpful. Are there wiring solutions out there? Are all Maximas affected. Thanks

Make sure all the connections have good contact and are strong. I would solder them.

they have problems because the stock wiring system is not able to withstand the higher load. The extra heat/strain usually ends up in a fried harness. Those cheapo bulbs are upped to 100-120 watts because you can't see jack **** at night because the human eye cannot detect the blue wavelengths as efficiently as the yellow/orange wavelength. Not only do you risk frying the harness, the bulb itself will usually fail within 1-3 months. It's just like having a 55 watt light bulb vs. a 100 watt light bulb. Which will last longer?
