But like I said if I were you I would go with thebigsadler's setup.-Cyrus
Man...forget the leather. Get some greddy catback exhaust, i got mine a few days ago, and i love it. It sound so great, weights less, and a small hp and torque gain. If you want i can try to record the sound of my exhaust.

Get the leather for sure. You have no idea how much more classy and luxurious the Maxima feels with leather. It's like I'm driving another car now. The leatherseats.com covers are incredible. They aren't smooth so you don't slide around in turns. The quality is top notch. You'll also get that new car smell back.
The only thing that kind of made me mad is that the rear bench seats lower and upper inserts are leather, the rest is vinyl. Of course this is the way factory Maximas come, but leatherseats.com makes it sound like you're getting full leather, front and back. Their vinyl is top notch quality and visually it looks just like the leather. The only way you can tell it's not leather is by the feel.

Screw the catback, 500$ for something that will make you more loud and give you some gains, besides, your car is no race car, you only gain noise and a little bit of looks from the catback. Get the leather...
I agree, thebigsadlers leather combo is great.. I am thinking of something similar if I ever do it, but I don't want to copy anyone. I'm thinking of a similar color combo, i'd like some black in it as my exterior is black..

I installed my custom leather seats a few weeks ago with the help of Delio and I chose Erics best match which was the sandstone and driftwood combo for the tan interior. Redmax I will e-mail you a pic of my interior with the tan but DEF go with the leather before the greddy cat back. I have the Greddy cat back and custom leather and I like the leather ALOT more. www.leatherseats.com is incredible quality leather and I will swear by their work and quality !!

What about a reb/black scheme? Like I know you don't want black seats, but what about matching red seats with black inserts? That would look pretty cool.

Try and stick with a more common and classy color. If you go with reds, silvers, and such, you might like it for a while, but then you'll most likely think it's a bit "loud". Go to the library and look thru old Motor Trends and look at BMW, Benz, Lexus, and Jag interior schemes to get an idea of a good looking contrasting leather interior. I love my black with charcoal inserts on my black Maxima. Check out my homepage for pics.
