You have a tan interior? Hmm I guess Ruby Maxs could get either color them because I have gray/black. Anyways look at thebigsadler's leather. Black/tan all the way!!! It looks SWEET but then remember he has I30 seats in the front as well.

ya im not a fan of black leather...too hot in texas, i was thinking along the lines of the medium red with tan outside, or tan stripe with med. red outside, or something extreme like red with silver...

IMO silver leather looks bad. Thebigsadler's seats are tan with black on the sides - I doubt it would really become hot but they look awesome. Red would also look great, especially if you could get a shade to match your car. But on the other hand most of the cars I see red leather in are older American cars, and not exactly sports cars. But like I said if I were you I would go with thebigsadler's setup.

Man...forget the leather. Get some greddy catback exhaust, i got mine a few days ago, and i love it. It sound so great, weights less, and a small hp and torque gain. If you want i can try to record the sound of my exhaust.

im gunna be getting a ypipe for the hp, im one of those who cant decide what i want my car to be...on one hand its luxury: nice color, wood dash, etc. and on the other its sporty: dropped, spoiler, cai, etc. i just cant make up my mind, i still think the combo of the red like mine and tan sides or vice versa would look best, i just gotta make sure that red matches

I would say get the exhaust, you seriously won't regret it. Just make sure there are no leaks. It's a lot better backing up that shiny tip with some nice tunes coming out the back. Later.

Get the leather for sure. You have no idea how much more classy and luxurious the Maxima feels with leather. It's like I'm driving another car now. The leatherseats.com covers are incredible. They aren't smooth so you don't slide around in turns. The quality is top notch. You'll also get that new car smell back.

The only thing that kind of made me mad is that the rear bench seats lower and upper inserts are leather, the rest is vinyl. Of course this is the way factory Maximas come, but leatherseats.com makes it sound like you're getting full leather, front and back. Their vinyl is top notch quality and visually it looks just like the leather. The only way you can tell it's not leather is by the feel.

LEATHER
Screw the catback, 500$ for something that will make you more loud and give you some gains, besides, your car is no race car, you only gain noise and a little bit of looks from the catback. Get the leather...
I agree, thebigsadlers leather combo is great.. I am thinking of something similar if I ever do it, but I don't want to copy anyone. I'm thinking of a similar color combo, i'd like some black in it as my exterior is black..

Never thought I'd say leather over HP, but in this case, get the leather! You said you're getting a Y-pipe soon... that'll be much more fun than the cat-back, performance wise.

I installed my custom leather seats a few weeks ago with the help of Delio and I chose Erics best match which was the sandstone and driftwood combo for the tan interior. Redmax I will e-mail you a pic of my interior with the tan but DEF go with the leather before the greddy cat back. I have the Greddy cat back and custom leather and I like the leather ALOT more. www.leatherseats.com is incredible quality leather and I will swear by their work and quality !!

Hey Charlie,
What about a reb/black scheme? Like I know you don't want black seats, but what about matching red seats with black inserts? That would look pretty cool.

Try and stick with a more common and classy color. If you go with reds, silvers, and such, you might like it for a while, but then you'll most likely think it's a bit "loud". Go to the library and look thru old Motor Trends and look at BMW, Benz, Lexus, and Jag interior schemes to get an idea of a good looking contrasting leather interior. I love my black with charcoal inserts on my black Maxima. Check out my homepage for pics.
