Are the 2000 floor mats the same size for the 2002
In case anyone else hasn't noticed, I think the 2K2 floormats (the carpeted ones) are pretty darned cheap. I've only had my car for about two months and you can see where the drivers side mat is starting to mat (pardon the pun) down where my foot rests. My friend with a 2000 AE Maxima has his original mats that look to be of better quality and still look like new. So my question is, if I order the 2000 mats from Courtesy Nissan, will they fit without a problem in my 2002?

Perhaps I failed to mention that my friend with the 2000 lives in Arkansas and that I live in Alabama. I deeply regret that I'm not willing to drive four hours one way to do this experiment. Thank goodness we have people like you to lambast me for asking such 'warped' questions. As for being a newbie.....I've been on this board for a couple of years now, so I'll just let that one go.
