Mine is one of the rare "barebone" SE's of the board.

Who else has a barebone SE? I have a 98SE, but I dont have leather, sunroof, powerseats, climate control or bose.
But my max is fast !!

NO ONE has the array of paint chips that I have

my seats are different from any others I've seen-my max has a center channel for my Dolby Digital/DTS decoder--I was the first 2k2 to get the VB mod (along with ehughes)--only 2k2 max that still has a 4 finger gap even though I have H&Rs on (I'm hoping they settle)--only 2k2 max with 18" Tantrums-- and most importantly, I am the only 2k2 owner (that I know of) who has returned their extended warranty and spent the $$ exclusively on mods

How's that?

Re: whats unique about your max?

Okay Carl here it is As you can tell from my sig I have THE FASTEST NA MAXIMA....in my sub division

1. I am probably the only one that has used a dremel to cut into the under side of the hood to open a path for the ooglie stock intake path that sits above the radiator. Once the hood closes the intake path is basically closed so I cut an opening the same dimension as the intake and now when the hood is closed fresh air is getting to my intake while I am in motion.

My rims. No one has them. Plus, my lack of door dings. Not a single door ding to be found and I plan (fingers crossed) to keep it like that!

Hell, pretty much nothing, not even in my neighborhood.

theblue and I have about as close to identical cars as you can get. Black SE's with black leather. Pop intake, cattman Y, apexi WS catback, GC Coilovers, AGX's, etc.

We're like rolling twins. We even have the same wheels and tires for racing, and we both have a Nitrous (me NOS, him ZEX) waiting to be installed.

Its sad.

1 of a select few customized Maximas in the Tidewater area, 1 of 2 on the .Org in the Tidewater area (soon to be one ), the rims are pretty unique, and the fact that I have a Ruby Pearl Max makes me pretty damn special too (I know redmax95 is going to back me up on that, right?).

Re: whats unique about your max?

Basically everything. Nobody I know of has the same paint, bodywork, interior, rims, or engine work.

By the end of June, I should have a full surround sound system w/ 2 TV's, PS2, and everything fiberglassed in, trunk and interior.

And the DPI nitrous setup should be done by then too along with the chrome manifold and polished blower. And some more interior work.

I wouldn't say you're the most modded. You're up there, but I know of a few cars that have a lot more than you or I do. They have everything you have, plus custom paint, bodywork, custom interiors, etc.

Which I completely re-did for Calvins next 95-96 Maxima. Cleaned and oiled his K&N, MAF is sealed bag, his SS brake lines all cleaned out, and sealed in bag. Other interior items, and I'm using his RSB for now. Polished out completely and Eastwood Co. Clear Coat.

ROFLMAO...sorry, I remember that post.

Unique about my car ?

Enough HIDs to blind you, car looks stock.
No Hyperwhite lights anywhere, no clear bumper lamps.
I did do red circle tail lamps.
Stock muffler still there for legal reasons.

Whats under the hood ? I'm stock.

I'd doubt it. Mine isn't the loudest but it's one of the best sounding out there. The proof is in the pudding.

Proof? ok...30 first place victories, back-to-back state champion, back-to-back zone point’s champion, and a few best of shows all in Iasca the biggest sound quality org there is. Mine does not excel at being loud, it excels at looking good and sounding real.

Well thats good. Most people think a lot of bass means that its the best sounding. When I had my components intalled, the installers were amazed at the sound of my system and they felt it sounded better than a lot of $4000 systems they've worked on. Mine isn't a show piece but it sound good as hell.

That is true, they have show stereo setups. It looks a lot flashier than yours, but it may not sound as nice. Can't wait until my stereo gets done. Everything in the trunk will be fiberglassed in, custom kickpanels will be built, and the PS2 and 4 gauges will be flush mounted right below the airbag in a custom fiberglass pod.
