id be interested in those grayish dash pieces and maybe the headlights, but i highly doubt the headlights will fit a 95/99 max and same with those tails.

If I could just find out who sells these, I'll buy them first thing and give feedback.

I have a friend in South Korea but she doesn't know much about cars. How can I make it easy for her to see if they're the same as my 97 Max? I can take pics and have her look at them (hold the pic up to an actual car). I can take measurements, but I woulnd't know which dimensions to give her. Any ideas? Remember, she doesn't know much about cars!

Maybe you can measure across the bottom and across the top. And also measure the height. Do the same for the inner tail.

How about taking your tail off and tracing it (roll it to get the whole thing) then scan it and send it to her. She could print it, cut it out and put it on top of one of their tails to see if it is the same. You could do the same for the inner tail.

If you find out that they might fit could she buy one and ship it to you? One outer would only be $25 plus shipping, so as long as shipping was not too outrages we could find out for sure relitivly cheaply. In fact I would be willing to kick in a couple of dollars towards the experiment in exchange for being able to get them if they did fit. I would love to have red/clear tails with a real reflector.

so if say a couple of member chip in say $1.00 or $2.00 to see if they will fit you think she will be willing to go buy a shyt load of these things and ship it to us. What if you send her a picture and send it to her in the mail and she just take it to the dealer. A debadged pic of the car with a nissan symbol would be a good candidate.

If memory serves, I could have sworn that someone on the org already confirmed that these tails definitely do not fit Maximas.

If they could fit, how would you match up the clear indicator light to the white, or foggy, reverse light? I30 inner taillights? Will those fit?

:o)

Anyone hear anything further on this? And it's not just the taillights I am interested in!! For instance, I would love to get their armrest/console:

And the micron filter and the steering audio controls, etc., etc. If we can figure out how to get VIs over here, we can get these Korean SM5 parts.

95-99 outers are the same shape. These lights dont look like they can fit niether. Im sure if someone is good with body work this would be an easy job for them.

I would say that its possible red/clears came on some other car somewhere.

I know that on my old G20 we had the red/amber combination and NOBODY made red/clears for us. So after a while it came to our attention that UK primeras (a.k.a. infiniti G20) came with red/clears in europe. So you could outsource and get a pair for like $400. I dont think anyone ever did

Damn thread grave diggers.. This thread is hella old. I'm sure if someone figured out a way to fit SM5 parts onto their max, there would be a thread about it. However, since we know the one-piece cefiro headlights can fit the 4th gen max now, perhaps someone will have renewed interest in checking out these headlights...

I much rather pay 200$ for these things, then say the red/clear tails from custommaxima.com (not to knock on his business, i love the guy.. ) just saying. These are like diamond cut red/clear tails.

The pieces seem to be almost exact, except they are slightly more angular, still very close though.....

If anyone is willing to take sacrifice 90$ + shipping and try them out..... that's the only way to find out... maybe even Greg, Jeff, Phoung, Alex or who ever else runs a business can try this out..
i was looking at u like WTF, u got a 5th gen, why u so interested in these, then i saw this was dated back in 2k2 lol
