If this is the case, I might have to reconsider getting a WRX since i will be selling the S4.

Oh crap, I've been replaced as the fastest 2K2 6spd! Oh well. I wonder if this guy was stock, and if so, the conditions there must have been sent directly from heaven.

If he ran a 13.9 he should trap around 100-101.

That sure does look like the Max that was at e-town. I was there and I confirm the 13.9

I'll be running ant etown too soon. Probably on a 75 or 100 shot.

It was you wasnt it. I was fooled that it was a 2002 because it had the hid and rear tails of a 2002.

nice job on the 13 second run... i know how tough it is to break a maxima into the 13s... hopefully I will be doing it NA shortly (but I kinda doubt it)

Why you selling the S4? This was going to be my next car, but I'm starting to get scared, cause I've heard lots of bad things about the turbos failing.

My cousin's 2001 S4 is on its third tranny. AWD + hard launch = trouble.

The more I've been researching, the less confident I am about getting the S4. Maybe I'll just get my speed kicks on a new bike?

There are a few minor problems with it. Mainly why the transmission blows are b/c people love to abuse the damn car. You abuse any tranny it will drop. I have no heard many problems with the tips. Most of the guys who blow the 6spd is because all they do is dump the clutch and stresses the whole drivetrain. There have been plenty of people who have been problem free, but its def too early to say that arent reliable. Most of the guys on the board have very low miles, i'd say about 85% of the guys have less then 30K miles. Another big problem are the MAF's going crazy & the TBB which rips very easily.

I don't abuse my car, but I do drive it hard at times. I've had no turbo or transmission problems to date, and I've got just under 39k in under 2 years. Shoot me an e-mail, I'd like to chat with you a bit about your ride.

Most people that I've seen have turbo problems are running an upgraded chip. Do you still have the stock one?
