The more I've been researching, the less confident I am about getting the S4. Maybe I'll just get my speed kicks on a new bike?

Synki, welcome to the family, but I don't agree with what you're saying here

There are a few minor problems with it. Mainly why the transmission blows are b/c people love to abuse the damn car. You abuse any tranny it will drop. I have no heard many problems with the tips. Most of the guys who blow the 6spd is because all they do is dump the clutch and stresses the whole drivetrain. There have been plenty of people who have been problem free, but its def too early to say that arent reliable. Most of the guys on the board have very low miles, i'd say about 85% of the guys have less then 30K miles. Another big problem are the MAF's going crazy & the TBB which rips very easily.
