seat belt is your friend my man, leave them be, you want your seatbelts doing exactly what they're doing

I still use the stock seatbelts for autocrossing but have always had a problem with the belt not staying tight on the race track.

I bought this seat belt clip that is designed for use with a baby car seats. It is a triangular piece of metal with three slots cut in it, one on each side of the triangle. I attach it to the seatbelt just below the pillar mount and adjust it to where I can just barely latch the buckle with the seat all the way back. After I'm buckled in, I move the seat forward until I am firmly pinned to the seat.

It's no 6-point harness, but it works pretty good and retains the interior stock looks.
