yup like 3 weeks after i get my custom paint job some kid at my high school keys my whole drivers side hella deep. this hella sux cause i get along with everyone and hella peeps got respect for me and my car. ive been looking for who did this and the whole schools knows what happens i just hope to find the guy and well u know whats going to happen to him just tryin to let off some steam cause this is f**ked up people got no respect but after i find him he gonna get the lesson of his lifetime. people in this world i swear....

How many panels were keyed? I don't suggest you get it fixed/repainted until you find the *sshole who did it, so not much more can happen. Man I would really bash someone's face in for that - a $4000 paint job and he just ruins half of it in 5 seconds.

That sucks dude. You got a really nice car. I bet it was someone who is jealous that he/she can't have a nice car like you do. I would go crazy if that happen to my car and the paint on my car is 6 years old, have plenty of paint chips and scratches, but not very noticeable. I couldn't imagine what I'll do if I have a quality paint job like yours and have that happen to me.

I think this is what you should do: keep parking the car there and hide somewhere, if the bastard comes back to do it one more time before school is over, you'll should be ready with a bat.

 

It is a shame that someone defaced your personal property. I can empathize with you. I have only a driveway, not a garage, next to my house and one morning I woke up and found a 3" inch gash by the driver's door and a 5" inch gash by my rear quarter panel.....

I got the car repainted and decided to see if I could catch the butth**e who did it. Thinking that that he/she would try it again. I set up my camcorder right by my bay window, focused on my car. I recorded for 30 days straight without anything happening. It also annoyed me that I was putting undue wear and tear on my $1000 camcorder; but I had to do this. I unwisely decided that since nothing had happened in 30 days that I should stop recording...bad move on my part! Wouldn't you know that on the next morning, the 31st day, that a**hole keyed my car again. A 2" inch mark above the door handle so that I wouldn't miss it.......the luck of that a**hole.

I didn't repaint it yet....but this time I will run my camcorder into the ground until I catch the coward....

 

sorry mna. My car got keyed 2 weeks ago too. it was the hood and like 2 feet or something. my car doesn't even look good. my car is pebble beige and even my wheels are stock 15". some stupid people.

anyway, does anyone know any solution to this? touch up paint or something? I don't have money to repaint the car.

 

A friend of mine has a '99 Corvette ragtop and it got keyed at work 4 times in one month! He finally bought a POS pickup that looked like **** and drive that to work ever since.

Another friend of mine get her Cherokee keyed but some misguided person. Our company shares a parking lot with a company that builds houses and they have 5 identical green cherokees that they use for driving out to the building sites. Someone had a dispute with the building company and decided to key all their vehicles. My friend's cherokee just happened to be the same colour, so hers got keyed at the same time.

 

man - you have the color that i dream my maxima could have been......i admit i would be jealous, but why mess up something that i would envy? - if it gets messed up, there is nothing for me to envy anymore.......people these days are complete idiots - hope u find him and then dont beat him up.....make him suffer- MauahahAHahah - its much more fun!

 

oh man, i can only imagine how you feel. when my one little window was broken into last week, i flipped out. i didnt understand how/why people do this, especially when they cant even get monetary benefits from their random act of violence. im in HS too, and my car has had **** thrown at it, and it made me angry, but in the end i still know i have the coolest car in the school, and those people have it all coming back to them 1000 times over....

I turn 17 june 4th and I bought my cousin (ant95se)'s maxima the other day and just put my ROH relfex rims on they look hot!

i guess im maybe one of the last high school kids here to drive a max. im very honored to be part of the club at such an early age.

 

Yeah I'm 16 but I live in a rich city where you see kids driving new Lexuses, brand new Mustang GTs, IS300s, and Mercedes all the time. My Max doesn't look so hot compared to all their cars but I love it, and I'm not one that has to worry about getting keyed!

 

Sheesh! You are all lucky! I'm 10 years your senior and only just got my '96 max about 18 months ago. My car thru university was a sky blue '81 Volvo 244 ("Bessy the Blue Brick") I graduated in '97 and left it in the UK when I moved to the US. I took an 18 month internship to pay for the car and it's repairs (and to try to help support my family financially), because my mother couldn't afford to buy me a car.

It amazes me when I see 16 y/o kids driving cars that are newer than mine! Of course I wish them no malice, either. I just wish someone had given me a new car when I first got my license. Well, maybe not - I worked my butt off to get where I am today, and I'm now in a position to buy my kid a new car when he gets his licence (which is a ways off considering I don't have kids yet!) and I'm pretty sure appreciate my Maxima more for having worked for it.

It's damned hard to drive a nice car in high school. There are too many haters out there. Back in HS someone hit my friend's 2 month old M3 in the door while it was parked in the student lot causing over 1k in damage and just drove off. Also some dropouts decided to break into 15 cars and steal the stereos in one afternoon and someone even stole a teacher's POS Buick. It may be nice to pimp your ride at HS but its really not worth it since there are tons of idiots that decide stealing/damaging your stuff is the best way to get equal when they weren't gifted w/ enough intelligence to find a way to buy their own.

My little bro drove my Prelude around a bit after he first got his license and apparently its already attracted some people who don't like it. Someone stuck a bunch of community college stickers all over the back(probably in response to the Cornell sticker on the back) and I went to lunch once and someone dragged a fork down the passenger door. I didn't even get my car until after graduation and I never made any enemies yet people still decide to deface my car.

 

Im 16, i'll be 17 May 29th! 92 Maxima is my second car, I had an accord (92 also) but I wrecked it because it wasn't a V6, jk, it was an accident... I almost died! I live where people are fairly poor, you can't have anything without it getting stolen! Thats what I dont got anything, just tinted windows. But I swear every Caddillac, Grand Marquis, oldsmobile and SUV has twinkies. They are everywhere. High School is cool.

 

I first day I brought my car new baby to highschool it got keyed, the second day someone hit it - 1/2 intentionally.. I was standing there watching, ****ED. I was a little bit sooo mad, thank god for insurance covering keying.

Same thing with my friends GS400, it got keyed, both sides, bad. sucks, that was at school (college).. not cool - i'm just glad my car hasn't been stolen or somethin yet, or broken into! although if that happened, I have all my stuff soo overinsured it wouldn't even be funny, so actually, now that i THink about it, I'd be happy haha

People are affraid to mess with me. (I am 6'3" 285lbs, but thats not it.) my driving style scares the **** out of everyone at school (except my science teacher and best friend).
I scare other kids, I know my and my cars limits, but they dont. this morning i was being whined at because I screached the tires when I was stopping (didnt feel like cutting the ***** off, it was on friday). today she was whining that im crazy or something. who knows, my science teacher just laughed and told me good job.
anyway, im like you, I dont **** people off, atleast when im at school, when im in my car, they **** them selves off, , i know it makes no sense but hey its time for bed, its 12:33am
