Yep, that's been in the news since late February. Hopefully that "new maxima" is the redesigned one and someone can take spy shots of it

 

It is the new Maxima (2004 MY).

Spy shots .... haha! Good luck, the 3 cars will probably never leave the plant until the official pics are released.

 

Yeah, I think I followed one on my way home from work last week. It had only 3 tires on it and things kept falling off it.

 

So are you suggesting that they will perform "on road test's"inside the plant.

 

The main purpose of building the three Maximas are to identify problems at the line and manufacturing.

Think of it as a preliminary line/build check. Also, Smyrna has a mini test track and road test on site.

The three cars will not be sold.

 

How would you like to have that job? Test driving top secret Maxima's before they even come out. Or opening and shutting the doors 1 million times.
