5th gen. vs. 4th gen. weight difference?

Re: 5th gen. vs. 4th gen. weight difference?
Bigger body. That back seat is huge compared to the 4th gen, and the 4th gen was already decently big. The 5th gens seems to be better isolated from road noise too, so probably some more sound deadening in there as well.

Well, we disagree then
I've only taken short rides in 5th gens, don't know how they are in the long term, but they definitely felt way bigger on the inside.
One thing that irks me sometimes about my 4th gen is the way my right leg rubs up against the dash all the time. They fixed that in the 5th gen.
And the Bose sub-woofer in the 5th gen?? I was disappointed. I think the 3rd gen may have had the best bose system, when it comes to bass. Dual 6X9s in the rear was the best way to go.

yo i thought my car was quiet until i was walking down martin luther king blvd and saw this 5th gen (looks like 2k1) GXE or GLE no spoiler driving down the street. It was at a red light and when it went off, i heard nothing no roar in engine at the slightest amount...the quiet storm i tell u...then i heard this 2000+ 2 door honda accord which was a little quiet but nowhere near the maxima's...

I agree. Even though the 3rd gen Bose isn't as loud as it is in my '97, it does have better bass quality. Not that mine is bad, it's quite good actually, but in my friends '93, her 2 rear Bose speakers are blown and the thing still bumps!!!!
