I was wondering if the Place Racing cold air intake is worth it. Some people say that it is too loud. About how much HP is made from it?

 

it's worth it .. it's loud at WOT .. and above 3K rpm..

It's only loud when you push the pedal

It's only loud when you get on it, even then it is a good sounding loud. I don't think that it's any louder than the Stillen or JWT intake, but I'm not sure.

I highly recommend the CAI, you can feel a difference and I actually enjoy the sound that it makes. Sometimes I find myself pushing the pedal harder just to hear the intake.

 

It would be if search was used more often around here.
