Clutchnet Six Puck Pictures

I installed a new clutch, a clutchnet six puck sprung hub disc and heavey duty pressure plate. Yes I know the six puck is harder on the drive line but I am hoping that the sprung hub keeps the stress under control. It was very chattery at first but as I have put some miles on it it has smoothed out quite a bit, its very livable. I have 50 mile left to go in the break in period, after that I will let you guys know how it feels. Thanks to Sleeper for the hook up on this one!

I think you will find that clutch to your liking. I used the same basic design, but with a 4 puck disk, and a stock pressure plate on my Turbo Dodge. I ran over 400 ft lb through it and it didnt slip! I even tried riding the clutch hard to get it hot and it bit even harder. This clutch material loves heat.

In the bang for the buck department, this clutch disk cant be beat. I paid $145 for the disk direct from Clutchnet.

How does the pedal feel with this clutch? Once I got my Centerforce DF, the pedal got really soft feeling over stock. I was hoping it would be a little stiffer.....
And the clutch ony cost $145?????

145 for just the disc, not the disc and pressure plate.

I paid 461 shipped, I also needed to get a TO an Pilot bearing ~$45

The pedal feels a bit stiffer than stock.

The ACT feels much stiffer.

How does this thing compare to the ACT extreme street disc and pressure plate?

It will hold more power than tha ACT.

It is not really for street use.

It wont last as long as an ACT

Its got chatter some times, so its hard to drive smoothly.

Yes I'm sure they could, they would just buy a stock pressure plate and heat it and modify it to give 30-40% more pressure. I would imagine that they would also have to buy a stock disc to use as a template to make you up a better one. Give them a call...

If it aint broke dont fix it

Until the ACT starts to slip I wouldnt sweat it.

I think a light weight flywheel would make it harder to drive.

I stayed with a stocker.
