It is essentially an add-on computer to the ECU made by the Racer's Group in Cali. I've got a 2k and no-one on that forum seems to have used it.

Max_Gator . . .

The original Mad Max installed The Program on his 97 SE 5 speed. I have copies of posts dating back to 3/16/00 in which he published his results. In a nutshell, he gained 20 hp and 22 ft-lbs of torque at the wheels in 3rd gear at 5000 rpm.

Shoot me an e-mail if you want to see copies of his dyno results.

I think it's around $1k with the dyno tuning

and yes, it is dyno tuned to your car.

I have the program

showed 22 at the wheels. I know Stevechicagosc had it but took it off because his times went lower. IT HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH YOUR TUNER!!

If your tuner does not program it right it will not perform right. I got a deal on mine. 750 with 2 days of dyno tuning to get it on the record with the program. normal price is 1000. What i like about it is it is a fluid program. you add or change your car setup in any way and it can be adjusted. my local tuner wants to do 50 shot nos with shutoff at 3lbs boost using the program to help map the fuel and timing to accomodate it.

When i first got it done in San Antonio the shop screwed it up and it was not performing right, ie it went into safe mode after second gear, so it gave me bad quarter mile times. The new place doing it here for me in phoenix, Technodyne, specializes in Porsches and have corrected it. they are currently going to retune the program after i got to the smaller pullet(3.33 9.5lbs of boost).

i like the flexibilty of it. however it has everything to do with your tuner and his abilities. look at about 2 days of dyno time for a proper intitial set up, and then 4 hours everytime you need to reprogram it.

rhine west, however i cannot blame them totally for this. they were not used to doing the program on a maxima, and i was the first supercharged max to be put inthe database of the Program. Because of this there was little support from the Program base. That is, anywhere that you do the program, the shop can access a national database to gather prior Program attempts. Because at the time there were no other maximas supercharged that were installed, they started from scratch.

Was the 22 at the wheels on the supercharger? I presume it was. Do you have a dyno by any chance? I'd like to see the results if you do!
