An exotic car spotted...need help identifying it

Right as I took an exit off of 113 South towards Davis, CA, I saw a very unique looking car pass me by. With curiosity, I passed a car in front of me to catch up with this car. We rolled down the passenger side window and my friend asked what kind of car he had. Instead, he said, "you can turn off your fog lights now," and I thought to myself, "huh?" He was this old guy and all of a sudden he made me seem like I was some young, reckless teenager that was looking for action, when in fact, I'm nothing like that.

Anyway, after that, I felt pretty stupid...we just politely and admirely asked whta kind of car he had, and he didn't tell us. All we know is, the car name (pretty sure its not the make of the car) started with a Q, and possibly ended with an E. That's all we know.

About body style..it was silver, a coupe, the general shape of an SLK when looked at from the side profile, it had 2 massive air ducts, both ducts were covered with a black-colored mesh grill, and they were located on the front fenders right before the front wheels. It was silver in color, had 5 spoke 18''+ wheels....

anyway, if anyone could figure this mystery out for me, I'd be grateful. I thought to myself might as well ask the max.org crew since you guys are pretty knowledgeable with cars and all.

thanks for reading

for some reason this car comes to mind. it is decribed by edmunds as "an SLK with an American attitude", its a silver coupe with air ducts and 18 inch wheels up front and 19 inch wheels in the back. although, they are 6 spoke rims. not 5. and the name doesnt start with a Q.

Chrysler Crossfire

I don't know, those fog lights can be damn annoying when people are just driving with them on. My eyes are very light sensitive and those things practically blind me. It might look cool but its annoying and I'm fairly sure that its illegal.

And hey Newman, is that your name? it's pretty cool...I always think about how Seinfeld used to say...

"Neeewman..." in that deep and annoyed voice, hahaha

Our "fogs" are not illegal on the street or anywhere else. They are not bright enough. Thus they are classified as "driving lights." You UCD guys should head over to the next NorCal meet whenever we get around to organizing ones. And yeah, Qvale's are cool

Sorry about that; just before I wrote this some guy in a third gen Max was blinding me half the way home. I don't have the stock fogs so I was thinking of the ones we have on out Pathfinder. My apologies.
