Install from hell>>>

Well last night we decided to get rid of yet another 4X4 4th gen on the road. We had a little mini meet at my house, me, Andrew (maximaR3), pete (one who we're dropping), a few alty's, DeRaNgEd (eric), nick, a mustang owner and bl513 (OLD member with his M3). Anyway we cracked open a few beers and got started. Taking the 1st wheel off we run into a prolem. The lug nut was completely rounded off on the inside (cheap as pep boys lugs.) Sooooooo we pack up and head to eric's house since he keyed us in that he had air tools and the whole nine (THANKS BIGTIME ERIC) So we try a few things including a T-60 Torx bit (biggest we could find at pep boys at 9PM) that we planned on jamming in there but it still too small. Finally eric gets a socket adapter and begins shaping it with a dremel and hammers the damn thing into the lug. Finally it comes off...

After that it was semi smooth sailing with your ordinary snags etc. and it took us a ridiculous amount of time to get the job done. We screwed around, worked, screwed around...anyway...I don't feel like writing anymore so here's the pics...

Before:

After:

He used sleepers old eibach/tok combo and with his rim/tire combo the car barely looks lowered. but take note of the before pic...

Other misc pics of other rides can be seen here... http://members9.clubphoto.com/christ...ner-b26a.phtml

Heheheh thanks for the props.

Nice pics. Now I have to separate the lug from the extension. That should be fun since I nailed it in like a 16 year old Virgin on prom night.

Hey...... Where's my $5!!

LOL!

*Meant to say 16 instead of 1*

Even with my Eibachs I can still fit 4 fingers in the back, and 3 in the front.

I did that when Kaleb and I were installing the Eibachs on my car..
I got my head stuck in there and about ripped my ear off on the lip of the wheel well.

Actually my very good friend has his own vinyl business and can make you anything. He is at least 20% cheaper then any place you can find. On certain items he has been known to be 70% cheaper then any place out there. So if you want anything E-mail him at westside_vinyl@yahoo.com

Tell him DeRaNgEd sent you, and he'll hook you up.

Holy crap!!!

Funny meeting you here. LOL!
Anyway I talk to Wampaz all of the time. I've known him for over 8 years. I saw him last night actually, him and a few other people started a car club. So have you modded your car at all?

That's cool - wish I could live in one place long enough to know someone that long. As far as mods, well, there's not much for an I35 (in terms of cosmetics) and pretty much every performance/handling mod I know my Infiniti dealer would have a duck. They're all still perplexed when they see me drive the car into the service station asking if it's really mine. I guess if you consider them mods though, I have put a front STB on and some blue 194 LED bulbs in the city lights in the headlights.

I am eyeing an Addco RSB though...

Seeya later,

John

Cool man!
I'm glad you are doing something to it rather then leaving it stock.
What do you do that has you moving around so much?

Ahhh...my dad was in engineering for the good part of my younger life before he went into sales. So, basically he went wherever the company told him to go. Thus the whole family picked up and left..
