2K2 SE or GLE

I'm just wondering from the people who own them, which one do you prefer? I've got a 97 SE, but I like the looks of the 2K2 GLE.

I've had both a GLE, it was totalled and now I got an SE.a few differences though

SE has:

Availability of stick
Wing
Sporty wheels
Silver gauges
Stiffer sport suspension

GLE is more towards luxury
softer suspension
classy wheels(i liked them alot!)
availability of wing, not standard
Automatic

The main difference is the trasmissions, if u want stick, gotta get the SE.I had the GLE auto, now i got the SE stick

Thanks for the input GuZo. I like the wheels on the GLE as well. I prefer auto either way. The only real gripe I have with the GLE is the door handles. I wish they were body color rather than chrome. Do you have a preference on the way either one feels on the highway?

Only way to get a stick is SE, SE it has to be.

Autos suck.

Yea, if you want an auto and don't care about/perhaps prefer the sloshier suspension, then I'd go with a GLE (I'd say add a wing...a Max just does not look right without a wing, and the 5th gen's rears are fugly enough with 'em)

I would say go with the SE, you can pretty much get everything in an SE that you would be able to get with the GLE in terms of luxury, etc. The look of the SE is a bit sportier with the rims, spoiler, and plus it has the body colored door handles. If you are really partial to the GLE wheels, you can always put those on the SE if you really wanted.
