Nope just the screws. Very easy to remove.

You might have some abrasion marks under the area where the rubber seals sits on the roof. I took mine off after a couple of months-I just didnt' like the look of it-and used some 3M Finesse-it II polish to gently remove (almost all) of the abrasion.

It's kind of weird though. There are a couple of clear plastic-type of squares on the front corners of the sunroof where the paint is. Curious...

Besides the looks, have you noticed any other changes like the wind noise or anything? I've been thinking about removing mine as well, mostly based on the looks. Plus it is all cracked up now, after only 3 months!

Haven't notice any difference in noise, so I guess it didn't change.
btw, I think someone went to a dealer to look at the reflectors, and all of the them are cracked (on brand new 2k2s)

At highway speeds to me the car is much noisier than without the reflector. I couldnt have a sunroof without it!

That is to protect the weak Nissan Paint. Its a wear area where the bracket could touch the paint and scar/scratch/hurt it somehow.

Mine has a big crack going down the middle. I had it for like 6 months. Should I take it off?

i think it looks better without it there is a 99% chance of me taking it off if there is paint damage i will buy a new one and put it back on

you don't have to buy it

I took mine off about a week after I got the car, think it looks a lot better. Put it back on a few days ago, has helped reduce the wind noise. Pick your poison.
