Belt tensioner adjustment question

Belt tensioner adjustment question
the belt tension pulley adjuster thats right below the timing chain case, theres a bolt that says "Re- tighten after Adjustment. I loosened the bolt because I thought that it was over tightened but that didnt seem to do anything. What I want to know is if that was the bolt that does the adjusting or is there another bolt I need to use?
BTW what is the purpose of that bolt? does it change anyhting to the tension if I loosened it and tightened it back?

The bolt that you see is reversed threaded so clockwise is loosen counter is tighten. You have to loosen the bolt that holds the pulley on. I believe its 12mm. Just loosen it and you can use the top to adjust to what you want. but remember to get it into spec or the belt will squeal. I believe spec is 4 mm.

Oh and even though the nut is reversed threaded, the way it works is you tighten the normal way, clockwise. Sorry it was late and I wasnt thinking about the way that it worked.
