Which is better CAI or pop? Will 235 tires fit on OEM wheels? Is the CL-S fast?

Which is better CAI or pop? Will 235 tires fit on OEM wheels? Is the CL-S fast?

I've noticed alot of these threads laying around the past few days so how about they get addressed real quick for newbies (we were all newbies once....well most of us).

1) CAI vs Pop.....
A: Jury is out, but the 'general' belief is that CAI is good for low end and pop is good for high end. Either one is an improvement over stock in the performance department.

2) Will 235 tires fit on OEM 17" by 7" wheels?
A: No. Not safely that is. If you choose to do this, just let your insurance company know that you plan on putting oversize tires on factory wheels. There answer should sway your decision.

3) Is the CL-S faster than a Maxima ('02)?
A: Maybe and maybe. The autos are about on par with auto 2K2 Maximas and the 6spds are about on par with the 6spd 02 Maxima. Many of you have beat the CL-S (auto or 6spd), but I assume that an equal number of you have been beat by them too. No car can kill the other car (with equivalent transmission and driver) unless...
A) The car was missing two to three sparkplugs
B) One or more tires were flat
C) Russ was driving (kidding......just kidding.... )

Just trying to do my part to free of the boards for intelligent discussion.

Yes it is.......possible that Russ can beat any Maxima...yes. Just kidding ofcourse. You do realize that if your CL-S has navigation that you get like 25 extra hp and the only way a Max can keep up is to get the extra special Meridian package with 50 extra hp.

The CL-S automatic might be as fast as the 2K2 auto, but the CL-S transmission will fall out by the end of the race

Honda has a big problem with automatic transmissison failures.
