I helped some of you with carfax, so it's now my turn to get some help

these are the Fondmetal type 5800. I can't decide whether to get those or the Moda R6. The Modas cost 50 more per wheel. I don't really like the shiny finish of the Modas.

Which one do you all think looks better?

I really can't decide.

I'm not actually buying the Fondmetals on Ebay. I just wanted to show you all what the wheels look like.

 

HOLY SHT those modas look downright awesome on a 5th gen ive never seen them on a 5th gen before
I actually like the finish on the Modas it looks a little duller than the ROH Black Ice finish

 

the black 5th gen in the link is a perfect example of why you need the Modas on your 5th gen...

I'll let you all know when i make up my minc. I kinda like the bulging spokes of the fondmetals.

I personally think the Modas will look better on your car than the Fondamentals. It kinda sounds like you want the Fondamentals though, so go with what you want. It's your car!

I have to go with the Moda R6 they look way better then the others. Is just plain flat fat spokes. The R6's have a curve to them making them seem as they were larger. Your car hope that helps.

come in 17s. Otherwise, i wouldn't even consider them.

i say do it, think those wheels blend much better with the overall design theme of the maxima. The modas look ok, it looks like 2 designs fighting each other to me though.

 

Designs fighting each other! Choosing wheels is a philosophical question, Hhahaha!

Even though the Fondmetals and the Modas have the same 5 spoke designs, the spokes on the Fondmetals are thicker, and slightly more rounder than the Modas. And the Fondmetals are more concaved in, so I like that too.

I think big sedans like the Maximas tend to look better with wheels that look more "substantial". One way of achieving it is with thick spokes as in the Fondmetals.

I also don't like the shiny finish of the Modas. I like flat finishs as on the factory 17s, and the Fondmetals have the same finish.

 

anyone know the weight of the moda r6 17" and 18" ??
