My next project involves reconditioning my wheels, which are AV3's similar to Monsoon's. Both clearcoat on the lip and face are chipping and fading in certain areas causing the paint to fade in those areas. My idea was to have the wheels sand blasted to remove all origianl clearcoat and paint, purchase a polishing kit, apply elbow grease. I've found polishing kits on the internet, but does anyone know for sure if these kits are sold at these major chain stores? I rather purchase a item now instead of waiting for one thru the mail. What's your thought about sand blasting a wheel, do these kits come with a sealer to protect the metal from the elements after you're done polishing?
