I made a left turn on a double yellow line and it didnt even say NO LEFT TURN on the exit. I get ticketed for that and then that *edited* also tickets me for my stillen rear exhaust, and my front license plate inside~!!! Anywayz, I thought they have to have a sign that saids NO LEFT TURN. that *edited* said I should have learned that. Yeah like I remember everything from 5 years ago. Anyway I could fight this illegal left turn?

im not sure if youd be able to fight the laft turn but im sure you would be able to get the exhaust ticket dismissed.

they teach you in driving school not to cross double yellows unless its a driveway... no way to fight that unless... you have influence haha

 

Sometimes I think our society is all messed up, because when we do something wrong, our first instinct is to fight it, deny it, and then sue. But then on the practical side, we do have reason to fight moving violations because those things cause our insurance to go up. Yes, mine goes up even though I didn't do anything, so I'd hope an offenders would go up too. I have run into 2 cops that I felt had very poor bedside manors, but I have to admit I've met more cops that were helpful. In the last 2 cases cops did not ticket me or my friend and I posted both situations on this forum: One I was cranking my mp3's and didn't hear/see an ambulance coming up behind me. Cop stopped me and let me go. The other my friend was speeding in Canada, burned rubber turning into a supermarket, and ran over a curb. Again, cop let us go. So they really aren't all bad.

 

Being that my brother is an officer, I'm a little biased. I too get ****ed at officers when I'm the one targeted. Kinda like when you accidentally cut someone off, they show you the bird and you get ****ed off. Why would you get ****ed off if you are the one at fault? Human nature I guess.

You could fight the exhaust ticket by going in and have them do a dB test. If it meets your town or city's limit, you should be ok.

Perhaps you should consider not driving anymore, as one day you may forget what a turn signal is, what each colored light on a traffic light means, what the signs with the words "STOP" or "Yield" mean, etc. You could save lives just by doing that.

Rule #1: Never admit to doing something Illegal. There's this document called the Constitution that protects the ignorant. It is there for a reason.

Rule #2: Never break Rule #1. You just did in that statement.



Don't ever pollute these forums with name-calling trash when you were the one who caused the event to occur. It won't be tolerated here.
