Brake Issues???

Hey what's up guyz, I was driving around today and I noticed my front wheels making a 'clicky' noise as I was applying my brakes. This noise could be heard occasionaly. Could someone pls. inform me if this is okay?? Kinda worried, as I don't know much about cars......By the way, I own a 2002 Nissan Maxima Gle..

Thankz for all your help guyz....

Mine did that last month. Only happened when applying the brakes lightly. Took my fronts apart, cleaned them real good with brake cleaner, replaced the pad guides and anti-rattle springs (~$8.50 at Autozone for the kit) while I had them apart. Pads were still real good, so used the Disc Brake Quiet (for squeal) and put them back together. No more clicks. But I still don't know what the problem was. My pad guides did seem to have a lot of brake dust/gunk on them. Cheap enough that I just replaced them to be done with it. Hope this helps.
