Well today while i was on the highway my service engine light came on. Car seems to be running perfect and just turned over 53k miles. The only thing i did today was fill up the tank and clean my K&N filter so i have no idea what could have set it off. I double checked the gas cap and the filter and they seem good. Could I have gotten some sort of bad gas? So far my gas mileage is the same it always is and its not getting any worse. Im stumped.

 

Only thing I can think of is that you're getting close to 60k and that's when it's time for a tune up.

 

I was thinking that too but that light only comes on when theres a prob and im still 7 thousand miles away.
