Unorthodox Underdrive Pulley
Yes.
I installed a Budget Y-pipe and a UDP a week later the end of May. The Y-pipe definitely gave more high-end HP, and the UDP seemed to remove the lag the low-end has exhibited since I got the car. (I'm used to grunt that Isuzu motors exhibit on low-end).
Overall, the car has a much smoother power band, IMO.

UDP installation
When you do the install, be sure and release the AC/Alternator pulley bolt before trying to release the pressure on the adjuster bolt! I learned that one the hard way (replacement $66 pulley assembly). Also - the PS pump nut came out pretty easily with a knuckle and very long extension (12"+).
Side note about the belts - The recommended short one was too short for my car. And I couldn't find the next longer one without ordering it 4 days out! I was able to get the original belt back on for that (the 305 would have been a better fit, though), and use the recommended longer belt with no problem.
