Saw the sweetest Maxima today

I was on my way to work this morning and this 3rd gen came rolling by me. I was cruising around 70 and an older guy dressed like a Nissan mechanic was cruising down the highway. He was driving a 3rd gen max. Black w/ pin striping. Completely stock. He looked at me and I nodded to him and he smiled back as if to say nice car.

The thing that caught my eye was the car was beautiful. Very clean, no rust, shiny, and sharp. I then realized how I used to love the max back in the day, when I didn't have one. I always used to look at them and think how nice they were. The car probably had 200k+ on it and it didn't have a sound coming from it. The car was sweet, I wanted to own it.

I just wanted to post this because we are all enthusiasts and sometimes we get so caught up in the car and the mods (or problems) but we forget to look at our cars for what they are, a sharp looking, well driving, sedan that if taken care of properly will still look good 10 years down the road. It is not often that you see a 10 year old car that looks like it came out of the show room, I would proudly drive that max to work. Sorry this was so long, just had to share my moment with you guys.

I was walking through the parking lot of my work place yesterday and my manager saw me walking in the in towards the store and he saw me keep turning back to look at my car..he asked," what do you keep looking back at?" I said, "my car, I just washed it, and it looks good." All he could do is laugh.
