These covers are OEM spec and are made to install in place of your factory cloth or leather seat covers. Once installed they will look just like the factory leather seat covers. The Maxima is a very straight forward installation and the averaged do-it-yourselfer should have no problems with the task. Our installation kit includes the hog-ring pliers, hog-rings, and the super-adhesive upholstery glue that you will need for the door inserts for $35.00.

I just have a couple questions:
1.) Does this kit include the door panels? If not how much for that? And also how much for the ebrake boot and shift boot?
2.) What does 2 embroideries mean? Like two letters like SE or something? Or 2 total like Maxima on the two front seats?
3.) What do you mean by inserts? Doesn't two-tone mean one color on the outside and another color for the inserts?

Yes, it comes with the door side panels in the deal. You can get an ebrake boot too I believe, but you'd have to negotiate that price with them before we send in the deal. Contact Eric and he'll let you know what colors would match with your interior.

The 2 embroideries would be like in the pics, something like "Nissan" on the front 2 seats or "SE" that type stuff. The leather is full grain and far better than the leather that comes from the factory. The install kit has the hog ring pliers and hog rings so you can do it yourself and the site has instructions. There are tons of guys here that have done it that can always provide help to the confused. They also have a toll free number you can call with questions as well before or after the order.

The 2 tone means outside one color and inside another. You can get perforated and all that if you so choose as well. If we need to wait a month to get 10-15 guys, the prices will still be good so think on it and get your friends in for a sweet deal!

Man, I wish I could get in on this deal since my factory leather is so sun damaged but I just don't have the $$$$ and I certainly don't need to charge it. Unemployment is a *****! Maybe next time...

Man, the whole black and silver would look cool....my current interior is beige though. Don't they sell some type of paint for the interior? Anywho...I think I'll just use a hook-up that I have...total interior color change for about $400. All of you should look around for private business upholstry guys. YOu think there might be a risk...but a lot of them that I've talked to won't charge you in full unless you're satisfied. Of course I always ask for customer input.

 

I ran the last GD. I just finished installing my kit this weekend, it looks amazing (will post pics tonight). I suggest anyone who needs seats get in on this deal, its totally worth it.

A few clarifications for some of the questions I saw in here. The kit DOES come with door inserts, but does NOT include the ebrake or shift boot (those are extra). The "flat non-perf" for an extra 35 bucks means the seats have a tight application. Without that option you have the "gathered" look, which I personally think is ugly. Let me know if anyone has any questions, or if the organizer of this GD needs any advice

Alright, we've gotten some good interest so far, but I need to start a listing of all parties that want in the deal. If you are a maybe, still send me a PM or email with your information and I'll code it all up in a spreadsheet and keep the total interested posted every couple days. If we get 10 and think we can get more, we'll go until it looks like we'll have no more jumping in. I think we can get a good number of people committed in 3 weeks so there's plenty of time to get in. The more we get, the cheaper it is, so let me know your status and I'll get on it.

What color combo is that? Looks great! I like it a lot but then again it might just be the pic at night.

 

Its black with charcoal insterts. During the day theyre both darker...the black is a very dark black, and the grey is also a lot darker...

Wonder how long it'll take me to do my door inserts everyone is so impressed when they see my seats they dont even notice, heh

Just to clarify, is this GD only for Maximas? Or can other Nissans, or even other makes join? I ask because I've been referring people from another board to this GD, and I wasn't 100% positive of the answer.

 

I do believe it's only for Maximas. That was the impression I got from Eric when we talked about setting up the deal. You could call and ask though I'm sure. Let me know what you find out

I don't think we'll get to 20 and if we did, we'd need somewhere near 26-28 in order to insure that 20 people actually call in their orders. That would probably take us until Christmas at this rate, but we'll see how it turns out. The extra 30 bucks you save to get double the people isn't worth it to most of us.

 

Well I'll tell you what, I'm waiting for 20 people too. I'm not feeling too rushed to buy, since I've only had my car for 3 weeks. But if we can get 20 and get the best deal possible w/that, then I'm in. I PM'ed you.

 

All those that want 20, let me know and all those that want 10, do the same. It'll be Thanksgiving before we have 20 at our pace and I would rather 10 myself. The 100 dollars saved is nice, but more than double the wait for an extra 30 isn't anything special to me.

 

I totally agree. Im in at 10. Is it really worth waiting another 3 or 4 months to save 30 dollars??? Even if it is only 1 month. Thats only a savings of 1 daollar per day?? I truly think most people would rather have the leather a month earlier than forfeit it due to a one dollar a day cost for 1 month. Lets get this thing moving.

 

Not that I'm being cheap, I'm just in no rush. I've only had the car for 3 weeks, and honestly leather was something I had planned a little further down the road. But if we can get the best deal possible, that's why I would rearrange my mod priorities, and get in on this instead.

 

I'm pretty sure there will be another GD right after this one if you want 20 people in. I unfortunately got my car exactly a month ago so I missed the last one. Probably why the interest isn't as high this time, many people already got theirs.
