I am interested... still working on getting the money together though. Can you get custom embroidery instead of the standard embroidery?

 

There are a bunch of options if I remember right. You'd have to talk with Eric about it. I think the number is in the first page of posts

 

Just talked with Jeremy and he said the embroideries in the system are:

1) Maxima - in cursive, said it looks like crap
2) Maxima - like the back of the car, looks smooth
3) Maxima w/Special edition below it - like back of car, with special ed in cursive
4) SE - block, smooth lookin
5) hamburger nissan logo
6) SE-R - exactly like the Sentra SE-R

I need everyone that has contacted me to make sure to verify you are in and make sure I have your org name/real name/phone/what gen Max

I need to email those to them when we start ordering. Once we get 14 confirmed, we should be go for calling in. Thanks all

Does this include the rear seats? I checked their site and its about 650 for front and rear single color w/ door panels. what is the price for the group deal?

Alright, we're up to 8 confirmed which means we need a few more. If we can get some by the end of next week, that would be damn sweet so think about it if you arent in already, saving 100 bucks like this won't come along again for a while!

Why would you do such a thing if your buying
a custom leather seats? Take advantage of two tone

I know but it's too common now. My plans are for single color for my seats and door inserts. Something light but not white and still match with the color theme i'm going for. I'll show you when my interior is done. But then it will be for awhile since my car has to going to the bodyshop for repainting.

 

I tend to agree. I wish my carpet was black and the headliner a different color so I could do a light earthtone in the leather. I've seen that before and it looks nice. I'm probably still going for two tone though--in a gray so it will match the headliner and carpet.

The order line will stay open for 7 days from this Friday to grab all the stragglers, the more the merrier. This deal won't come along again for some time to get it while you can. I just sent out emails to everyone that has sent me their address. I'll call the few I don't have. Talked with leatherseats.com, the line will be open from Friday the 27, through the next Friday, the 4th.

If we get the 10 we need in that time, it will close on Fri, if we need any more we'll keep it open until we reach 10. If you aren't in the deal yet, you still have time! This is a great opportunity to have custom seats so take advantage.

Hello Everyone,

Just called leatherseats.com my whole reason going on the group deal that I wanted to have GTR logos on all of my seats. I don’t want to have a Nissan logo or SE. The guy told me that it will cost around 125 dollars for them to pay the other company to give them that design. From my understanding there have been no one that ordered custom seats with GTR logo. I know there a ton of people who have GTR logos on their cars. Basically he said that who ever is on that group deal and interested we can all split that cost among each other. Like I mention before you would be one of the first people to have those logos on your seats. Let me know who is interested in splitting that cost.

We got an 11th today so we're all good. I'm hoping to get a few more people in on the savings too! GTR would be cool, but I think I'm going no embroidery, keep it all clean

 

the total that they need to produce that emblem $125 I probably will do it. Just don't want to pay 125 myself. But it doesnt affect group deal.

 

I went by my local Katzkin and tested out their samples in my car. I have the Frost interior, and I found the best match to be Puddy/Platinum. In case anybody is interested in doing a factory color scheme match 2-tone.

 

Leatherseats says Mist gray/puddy is the match for frost. I've seen some installed pics of those colors in others cars, damn fine match. That's what I'm going with.

 

Not a problem, just sharing my feedback. I was able to take their samples and hold it up next to the panels in my car, both in the direct sunlight and in the shade. After 30 min. of comparing every grey tone they had, I settled on Puddy/Platinum. Mist Grey was "too grey" for the darker frost interior panels. Puddy, on the other hand, was a very close match for the lighter panels.

 

This is with Custom Leather interior samples? That's interesting. I'll have to take a look at those colors, I never got to see samples from them only the Classic Soft Trim samples. I'll ask Eric what he thinks about that combo when I place my order. Could be smooth

 

Hey released did you get the pics I sent you of mine? The gray with puddy turned out excellent!! Better than I had actually thought. I also had the SE embroydered on the front seats in the puddy color. I am very please with the end result!!!

 

Yeah, I got them gmax, very sweet indeed. That's why I'm having trouble deciding what color to go with to match. Yours looks damn nice indeed.

The install took an upholstery shop 2 days. I honestly don't know how many hours a day they spent on them. The guy claimed 8 hours one day and 3 of the next...

 

I called all around town here in Tucson, nearly every place quoted me the same price and said it would take a half day, about 4 hours to do and these places are quality. I got a 300 dollar quote almost a dozen times, Shaz did his own and so did most others and they came out bomb *** too, so I'm going to get the kit and do the rear and if it's not bad, then the fronts. No hurry, but 300 is some serious coin for 4 hours work.

 

I would have done it myself if I had not gotten the deal I got. The upholstery shop comp'd the whole job because my business does so much business with them. I stopped in a few times while they were working on the seats and it really did not look very hard. Just make sure it is stretched properly over the seams... The door panels looked like the biggest pain in the butt!!! cutting the material and getting it stuffed in there so that it looked good took them quite a while...

Hey GrayMax, thanks for those pics! It looks great. So did you go with the Mist Grey/Puddy combo then?

The back seats & door panels seem to match pretty good, in the first picture. In the second pic though, the center console seems darker than the leather? Or maybe it's just the picture/lighting?

 

Yea, its the grey mist / Puddy combo. It matches the doors and dash nearly perfectly. It is not the lighting the center console for some reason is slightly darker in my car.
Sorry its taking so long to respond, I am in the middle of a major stereo overhaul... Just installed a Alpine 7893 deck, Alpine CHA-S634 Changer, Alpine MRV-F450 amplifier, Infinity Perfect 6.1's,Infinity 653i's in the rear, and a Kicker Comp 10 sub. Got about 3 more hours and I will be finished. Thank god!!!! Im getting real tired of working on this thing!!!
