I think everyone who got screwed by this guy should contact their respective local authorities at once and give them a list of all the victims. If this is fraud, they will arrest him and who gives a S##T if his dad is a cop.

I don't think we should take matter into our own hands because we are too good for that and let the cops handle this @ssh%!e.

Recieved Shiet in the mail

Okay today I picked up the package at the post office. What I got in the box was the biggest piece of shiet I've even seen. The only use I see of the stuff is to shove it up this ***gots @ss. He gave me a weapon R key chain, crappy weapon R breather, some sort of midpipe from an unknown car which is used, 1 blue silicon adaptor, 2 metal clamps and like 3 useless metal brackets that you probably use for making furniture. At this point I am so mad and will most likely go to the police because this guy has to be caught.

Back from NY

I was at NYC for only 2 and a half days on family matters. I didn't have a chance to visit our "friend" because i don't know the city and I didn't have a car.

I received an email from AceFace a few hour before my bus was to leave. If I had received it earilier I have gone with AceFace to visit him.

This is what I am going to do, I am going to buy my missing parts because it is a waste of time for me to wait for this guy. However I will continue my boycott of this bastard.

In a couple of months I will be going back to NYC and if you people would like me to take legal actions I will, with the help of AceFace (because I don't know the city).

Okay, today I sent out messages warning ebay bidders not to send this idiot there money. I got an email from him which said:
"taht thing is brand new what are you talking about???i ve ebnver used it its mnot evan 3weapon r i never said it was they dont make a midpipe fo r a 2002 maxima do wahtever you want i could care less actually no i car but you8 make it very hard..."

So he is saying that Weapon R doesn't even make a 2002 midpipe for our car. I also got an email from him after he found out I was emailing people on ebay. That proves that he's been bidding on his own auctions to attract buyers. I will continue to email ebay bidders so that Team Sunrise will go under. If everyone can do this that would be perfect.

How to catch an Internet Scammer

I just found this thread in the Dealership and Shop Experiences forum.

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....hreadid=134895

It has a link to a thread with a lot of useful information and instructions on how to deal with a guy like this, including a link to the FBI internet fraud site (I didn't know such a thing existed) and some other fraud links. I'm off for a week, but I'll post and report if and what he sent me when I get back.

Starcruzer, I wouldn't be surprised if this guy sends you a bunch of junk because thats what most people are getting. I cannot even use what he sent me, its just garbage. This weekend I will work on gathering all the information and will follow through with this. I really really want to get this guy.

I bet on the auction so I could leave this guy a negative feedback. This was part of my boycott. I hope others will join. I have also traced the bidders for team sunrise's auctions and sent them my email. I hope others will do this too because there is power in numbers.

Yeah, after reading about how he promised you and some of the others to make good and sent you junk I'm not expecting much... I think if we find out what city he lives in we can find out what police dept has jurisdiction. Then we should all report how each of us got ripped off by this guy. JT is right, there is power in numbers and if we all report to the same agencies, they might take action quicker than if they just heard from one of us. I'm looking forward to particpating in "operation slam the scammer" when I get back.

Chris, thats a great idea. I have been emailing bidders on ebay already, and posting warnings in tons of online car clubs. Let us all know when you get back and we can start to send our complaints in at the same time. I will start tomorrow to collect information on this guy. We should share this info with eachother in another thread (because this one is getting messy) so that all of our info matches up perfectly. Let us know when you get back. I hope everyone will take the time to gather enough info so that we can all send it down to his jurisdiction.

FYI I will possibly be in NY at the end of August with some friends.. if you guys want us to make a stop at his place one night, I am sure nobody will mind sparing a few minutes of their time

The other detail that is probably worth mentioning is that some of my friends have attitude problems and issues with keeping their feelings to themselves I'm a good negotiator but if all else fails <grin> - I don't think his dad the cop will chase me back to Canada, will he?

Jer, I'm all for this plan I was told by the guy today that he sent me a money order for $70US. If he doesn't I'll give you money if you can get my $70US back by paying him a visit. I'll keep you updated.

Finally got my Money Back!

Hey guys! Today I got my $70US refunded by paypal. I was so suprised that paypal actually did something because the payment was sent over 2 months ago. I guess they realised that he was a fraud from the start of the investigation. I'm so happy right now! Gonna have a beer!

JT, what I did was send an email complaint to paypal. I told them everything, his "name", address, gave them a link to his website, a link to this thread and others, all his and his friends ebay accounts, just about everything. I'm sure if you do this you'll get your money back.

Nathan,

Congrats on getting your $$$

How did you get all that information plus a description of what happened in the 1000 words that paypal allows? After I filed I got an "auto" response from paypal thanking me for the complaint but since I filed more than 30 days after I paid, they would not investigate it. How many days after you paid with paypal did you file your complaint?

BTW, last time I posted I mentioned that team-scum-rise promised to send me my filter and even provided a tracking number... It turned out that I never got anything from him and the tracking number was bogus. I e-mailed him about the bogus tracking number and of course he never responded.

Well I just gave them links and what not trying to give them as much info in the smallest amount of space. I filed the complaint 1 month and a couple days after the payment was sent, I didn't even expect them to give me my money bacl since it was so long ago.

For the last month or so i've been emailing this guy from Team-scum-rise with threats and all this crap but I never got anywhere. I even got him to send me the intake but he gave me some used crap what wasn't even for a Maxima. He even addmitted to me that the intake wasn't Weapon R and for my car. I tried to ask him for my money back, he claimed he sent me a m/o in the mail, but nothing came. Now that I got my money back I won't stop trying to Boycott his company until he loses all his sales.

I agree, we need to boycot him until he either loses all his sales or gets shut down and locked up. I'm going to put together a short memo documenting how he ripped me off and include links to some of these threads, links to his e-bay feedback, his name, address etc and send it to the FBI, the local police in his jurisdiction, the DA in his jurisdiction and the USPS. I don't know if it will get me anywhere, but at least I'll feel better. And if enough people follow through and complain to the authorities maybe some action will be taken against him.

got the message

Sunrise has stopped putting item up for bid on ebay now.
He could be changing his name, if anyone know his new name post it here. I will continue to look out for him on ebay. I will know it is him when I get misspelled and bad grammar replies.

I've been trying to do the same thing but it seems he either opened another ebay account or stopped selling on ebay for the time being. If anyone can find his new ebay username please tell me.

Shane1949 is the e-bay username he was using when I first checked on him last May. He is still selling on ebay, but he has made his feedback private. What a suprise . He is not selling anything car related with that username now, just some Gucci hats.

Try This On For Size

Well, it has been about 2 months now that I have emailing this jacka$$ with the wrong and missing parts he sent and finally I am getting things straightened out. Here is kind of a play by play of what has happened with me on this (incase anyone is interested).

Cruised ebay looking for intake, come across this guy, (at this point he has like 2 or 3 negatives). I email him and ask if everything worked out ok because I used to sell parts on Ebay for cars also and to be honest alot of peps buying and bidding never pay or do some really crooked sh*t. He claimed that everything was ok and those people were just bad bidders. I pay immediately with PAYPAL (THANK GOD) and he sends package 1 which consists of a weapon R sponge filter, frame plate, intake tube (NOT WEAPON R) and a reducer and clamps......Missing from this package is the adapter for my Air Sensor, 1 reducer and all the tubing for the intake to work. I sent an email and this is where the fun starts.......Before it is all over he tries to send me a FREAKING COUGAR AIR ADAPTER and claims it is for my Toyota!!!! I finally package all the crap that he has sent to this point and tell him I am mailing it back COD UPS and that if he screws up one more time I will make it my life mission to make sure he at least gets pulled into court for fraud. I just got a notification today after 3 delivery attempts and a changed delievery location (by him) that it was finally paid for and my money is coming back to me minus the $20 for shipping (the cost for sending the crap back which I will gladly take just to be done with this)......

WARN EVERYONE YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS JACKA$$. This drove me insane for quite a few weeks. I think it is finally over though.

Thank Freakin God

Down goes Shane1949

I've been bidding the products on ebay from shane1949, he's the same guy as sunrise. I know he's the same guy because of his email reply:

"Items are not shipped from my location. Also, that is the opoint of selling online. To maintaion anonymity. My auctiion clearly stated my rules. "

Even though he added periods you could still tell it's the same retard.

I've been buying up his products from ebay so he would have to pay the fees and no one else could get scamed by him. Since my attack, I've noticed he stopped selling under this name also.

Well my paypal complain was done well over 1 month after the payment was sent and I got my money back. Maybe it was just luck.

I now have a list of people you have done this too. I have reported it to several agencies including my lawyer if you do not respond soon an investigation will procead into all of your aliases. And whoever's credit card/bank account you used to recieve payment on will be charged. RESPOND BEFORE REPERCUSIONS.

Five minutes after sending these he responded saying "a lawyer for a $150 piece it like 5000 just to see one then i told him my brother was one and his tone changed to well my dads a cop so i said well than you know what kinda trouble your in or you wouldnt respond. he said his paypal was cancelled but a money order would be sent tomorrow and that he never had a problem with any one else so if anyone is complaining to email him at teamsunriseebay@aol.com so i think everyone should let him know whats up.

Don't believe him when he says he'll refund your money with a money order because thats what he told me and he never sent it. As for his paypal account being suspended, I doubt that as well because a couple days ago paypal refunded my money and I believe his paypal account is still active. I think its just an excuse that he's come up with. As for his dad being a cop, thats a total lie as well. If I were you I would take legal actions asap without giving him previous notice.
