i can't not belive you guys! this, mind you is a GD. a GD takes time. this is how you get a better price. we have to wait for the right number of people to join, and then we can send out payment. I DO NOT KNOW! do you want to know why i do not know? ok, becasue seeing that you guys didn't give me enough time to do my dam* job correctly, i could not give people a fair chance to email me back to confirm their spots! so that means we could have enough for th $10 drop, or we couldn't! so you can do one of two things:

1.) send out a payment of $258, and if certian people that are not confirmed do not pay and we drop below 20 people then you will have to pay an extra $10 and your catback will be delayed.

i personaly will spend the extra ten bucks, am not sure about you.

Chris, you were doing fine. I think this GD flopped due to everyone going to the seller vs. dealing with the contact person(you). I have emailed the seller myself and he seemed a little unhappy on how this has been dealt but not because of you. He even stated that you were keeping in touch with him. I don't know about you, but I don't see myself involved in anymore group deals for a while. This was just crazy! Anyway, thanks for trying. Hopefully, I can get it before the RI meet and show off.

hey guys i talked to skeelo on the side and i dont think his cheap a$$ wants in the group deal anymore. He thought it was gonna be 230 shipped so i recommend taking him off the list and putting someone in replace of him. He's not even staying with the group deal, only posted he wanted in and hasn't said sh*t yet....

also, i paid 259, anyone that does not know, pay 259, tzmanles for the 1001th time, pay 259. So far we have like 7 paypals and 4 or 5 money orders sent so we are well over 10 people. Its just waiting for the money orders that will make us wait a little but we will all get it for 259.

i just made a count and so far we have 7 paypal payments and 2 money order. This does not include the 3 to 5 people that said they were sending money orders today but didnt get back to us to confirm it.

so we basically have 9 confirmed payments and just have to wait for 1 more person to come back saying they sent the money order.

Also i recommend kicking the following people out of the group deal or doing a heavy follow up on them...

Although I had wanted to get in on this group deal (notified late last night at around 11:00 PM ET), I didn't make it in. However I had emailed the vendor and he has no problem with selling me the exhaust for the GD price, so for those that didn't make it into the GD, I don't think you have to worry about not getting a good deal on this exhaust. However if someone is misfortunate enough to get kicked out of this GD, I would like in with the hope of lowering the cost for myself and the rest of the participants. If I'm not let in, that's cool no hard feelings, I'll just go solo, but thanks anyway to those who put the effort into the GD, we all appreciate it!

I got a reply from the guy at showchrome or whatever via email that the price was 268 if I wanted it shipped right away--or 258 if I wanted to wait to see if we got the right numbers. I paypal'd him 268 and change right away. He sells these for 250-290 through ebay anyways. This really wasn't a "group buy" but just a fellow .org member who hooked us all up with the good deal he found off ebay. I have no idea why this was set up as a group buy and someone stressed themselves all out over nothing trying to "arrange" us.

Hope we all get our exhausts within reasonable time, and we all like whatever price we paid for them. I would have paid 300 for it if that was the price he was asking. You guys that try to nickel and dime and try to save 5-10 dollars will learn over your experiences that trying to go cheap will not always work best. Sometimes it is better to just send an extra 10 bucks if you aren't sure instead of bothering the seller, the organizer and the fellow .org members with useless babble, posts and emails over 10 bones. The seller's profit margin is probably 10-30 dollars per unit sold. Do you really think he wants to read 50 emails a day asking silly questions? Who knows, maybe the people that paid an extra 10 bucks or whatever will get 3 day shipping, a $10 refund, a nicer box with no dents/cuts, or faster handling to the shipper. Some of you need to remember you are not driving corrolas or civics, you are driving semi-luxury auto's and it sounds silly bickering back and forth for days over a 10 dollar price difference.
