Again, is the pricing the same for Canadians?

i just got my obx cat-back. it looks really good & shiny. i will try my best to get it installed tomorrow.

I agree with this too. I'm still debating on this setup compare to a custom: Budget B-pipe w/ resonater and universal muffler. I just don't know which would sound or look better, at this very moment I'm 80%-90% sure I'm gonna go with this (better exhaust note and the price). And because of my indecision I don't want to hold the GD back,
I think like meccanoble, he should sent out the orders asap not all at once. If I went to a store to get something and its in stock, they wouldn't tell me to come back in a month to pick it up but you got to pay now, it wouoldn't make sense. Plus isn't the reason why he isn't shipping one by one is because "I do not want to process and ship orders individually each day ". what type of business practice is that???
Don't get me wrong for bad mounthing the seller, this is a great deal but I just don't agree with the way he do business. I guess this is what you get for trying to save a few dollars.

 

alright, i'll talk to him AGAIN! i am ready just to close off the GD to anyone else and just send him the people that we have now... because this is insane. you guys are not happy with anything i do. i'll speak with him again, and see what he says...

hey blkmax95c, its a great group deal as far as price and everything, but this along with everything else sold on this forum gets no love because we all hate to give our money out and not receive asap.

Plus he has it in stock...i dont know, i personally am very impatient, i gave shadow, a well respected seller on this org hell when i bought my plasma glow neons....i suggest we get this going because now i'm debating if i want to do this or just use the money to finally clear out this credit card i had a bill on for months...just 700 bucks to go and if i dont buy this, it will be cleared, but ahh, what a deal and i just hate the fact of knowing i got this mix and match catback on my car...sounds so much better to say "i have the SS OBX catback", not "custom b-pipe and 2k1 muffler..."

Don't say that man. You did a good job by getting this together. This is no different then any other group deal so why is everyone acting like its different. Everyone waits until a certain amount of people pays and then gets the product for the cheaper price. You did a great job no matter what people say,

i live 8 blocks away from the holland tunnel. exit 14c of the nj turnpike. maybe you have some time to pass by.

 

its night time, u mean u getting it installed today as in saturday?! i finish work at 4:30. I'll be home at like 5 if not earlier. Would i be able to hear it tonight? Dam, i'm not too familiar with turnpike. How would i get to your spot from the wiz at jersey city? like umm, off that muniz street? u know near where that big meet was in june?


oh and blkmax, you are doing a great job. I think a lot of people (including me) were impatient because as the group deal was taking place, people were receiving and installing them, as if they get some power over us, JUST NOT FAIR! lol, but it will all be worth it in a week or two...right??

 

hey i ordered mine today,so just tell the seller that im already in the deal but he still can count me in as the rest as you that way the number of people doesnt go down.Ok this is a group deal,right our goal was 5 or 10 people then we would get a price.OK we already have like 10 people so why is the seller wating till feb 15 to ship out when we already have ten people ready to buy or have already bought it(me)thats how group deals work as soon as we get enough people to get the 268.38 shipped then he would ship?not wait till feb 15. by that time he's going to have like 20 people whats going to happen to us that already paid the price he gave us for 10 people?Its like me selling a product and you guys come up to me and want me to give you guys a group deal and i say yes,just get 10 people the goup deal ends march 15 then i will ship ???? get it its not fair and its not a good way to run a bussiness,he should just ship our catbacks as soon as he recives the money,we got the 10 people so why wait till the end of the deal makes no sense,we met the goal of 10 people and there in stock ,so whats the wait for????

Right now looking at Blkmax95c's list(sorry didn't catch your name), we are only about 8 away from another $10 drop, I think it may be wise if we leave the GD open or maybe (big maybe) wait a few more days, if its worth it to anyone. I wouldn't mind saving for another $10 but thats just me. I think there may be some more interested people out there such as BlkStnValyMaxima and my roomie is coming home in a few hours, he might also want to jump in on the deal. So there a potential that we may be able to hit 20 in the next couple of days or so. Either way I'm already on the list and ready when you guys are.

well i just got obx catback installed.

i have good news & bad news

lets start with the good news:

the catback looks very nice, very shiny and almost looks just like the greedy. the sound is nice and deeeeep and makes the car sound bad a$$. it does not in any way sound like a civic. the sound in the car is very low. you get a very slight hum & this is with the radio off but you don't get that big huuuummmmmmm. i have a 9month old baby and it's good for me. please don't forget i also have a stillen y-pipe & cone filter with the mid pipe.

i also must say that i felt a power gain, the car pulled harder then before. you guys now i don't run my car and it runs in the 20's in a 1/4ml. don't forget i'm on 19's and the trunk is full of stereo stuff. so when i tell you i got some extra power, i got extra power.


here comes the bad news:

i'm very picky and this is what i don't like.

the tip is to small for me. i think a 4.5" would be better.

the tip is almost even with the cut out, it doesn't stick out at all. to me it looks kinda lost.

the pipe from the cat to the muffler is not centered like the oem pipe and is about 2.5" away from the bolt mount in the center of the car. this means that the muffler is a little side ways and the tip is not centered.

now i'm not in any way telling you guys not to buy the obx catback. i'm just telling you how i feel and what happen to me. slimer & araffio had no problems, may be it's just that i got a sligtly off exhaust.

i'm very lucky because i have a friend that has a muffler shop that takes care of me and told me he could fix the problem on monday.

i don't know if i will change the tip on monday but i will get the exhaust straighted out.

i hope all you guys have better luck then me but i'm still happy with the catback (as soon as i change the tip to 4.5" or 5").

over all i still think it's a great price i would tell you guys to order it.

Freddie-

I used a strong zip tie and put it tightly around the right side rubber hanger. That pulled the tip into the middle.
It was only off a hair, but enough to bother me. Now it's perfect..I don't know why your muffler is side-ways
