Hi PJ,

Just picked up my car like 30 mins. ago. EXEDY clutch new tranny and AMSOIL in the gear box. The clutch feels great. The pedal is a lot easier to push in, maybe thats because my old tranny was never right after its 1st rebuild. The clutch grabs like 3 inches off the ground and grabs very quick and pretty hard, this is NOT a replacement clutch. I can't get on it yet, I need to break it in properly but I can defenitly tell you that you will enjoy this clutch. Let me know if any of you have any questions, I am about to post this in the 4th gen forum.

wow...i cant wait till mine is in! I still have to wait to find a good used VE 5spd tranny before I can put mine in.

Rip off hu. On the invoice it says no where about replacing the clutch it only says "customer supplied his own clutch"

Jason, how does the clutch feel so far? Smooth engagements, clutch chatter, stiff peda, anything? I'd break the clutch in at least 500 miles...maybe even 1,000 miles before going hard on it.

 

Honestly, the clutch feels better than my stock clutch did. It engages smooth no chatter at all. The pedal is actually easier to press than my stock clutch was. It does grab pretty quick but not to hard, this is not a "gorilla clutch" like a puck clutch or anything. I have about 200 miles on it so far. I posted my impressions in the 4th gen forum but no one replied or seem to care.

Just got a fax from my distributer an hour or so ago. The clutches are on backorder until the 1st week of May. They are trying their hardest to get the clutches to me sooner. I have tried to contact everyone in the 3rd/4th batch already (Spoke to the customer or left message). I will be combining everyone for the 3rd batch with the 4th batch to make it the Last Batch. Sorry for the inconvenience. If anyone who has already paid for the clutch on the 3rd or 4th Batch is in desperate need for a clutch, for an extra $60.00 we can supply you with an ACT HDMM clutch by next week, but we suggest if you can hold out until the Exedy Clutches come in.

Looks like I'm gonn have to jump in on this deal from after hearing good reviews fro JustMaxin96. I'm trying to get all the parts for a conversion and would need a clutch. Is it possible to get a flywheel from Maxx Tuning as well? If possible, how much is the flyweel, and how much is shipping for the clutch or both to my zip code 20744?
