Im just bored and was thinking if you guys wanted, I could make a simple Group Deal online dealie where people can put their name in under 'Interested' or 'For Sure' and you get the idea. Itd be easy to track...and whoever was running it could set a link for PayPal or so be it...let me know guys...

what way do you need help...what are you looking for exactly...im in the computer field, but just dont have a server for space on my home PC

 

I was just looking for some ideas to approach this with. I was thinking a database if anyone has a SQL server or a Windows box I could do it in ASP/Access really easily...

Isn't there a website that does group deals in a similar fashion already? I can't recall the name, but I think that the GD originator started a "thread" there, then went to various forums to tell the world. People would go to the site and be "in" or "maybe".
It was for various makes of cars, it seemed mostly imports.

Does that site meet what you were proposing?
Also, are there any improvements that you'd make? Maybe you'd be the competition
