More FREE Sirius gear
Check this thread at www.clubxm.com :
http://66.246.14.172/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=5033
You can get all the gear you need (controller, antenna and tuner) for FREE!
If offered the choice, pick the Panasonic or Audiovox setup over the Jensen
Here are some pics from various websites of the different units:
Panasonic
Audiovox
Jensen (Not only is it ugly, it doesnt have very good performance compared to the others)

The thing about the names means that if you want to order more than one unit, you need to have another persons name to go with each one.

OK i think im going to order this but i was wondering if there was a certain amount of months you have to subscribe ie year contract or is it monthly plan? Also if you quit after one month, do you have to return the free gear? It sounds like a good deal i just want to make sure i know what i am getting b4 purchasing it.

They make these stipulations about activation deadlines and contract lengths.
But, I dont know how they plan to keep up with it. When you activate online, they dont seem to have any record of how you got the equipment. They ask you for a new CCard number and just need the actual ESN number off your receiver.
I wouldn't worry too much about deadlines and minimum contracts...

They said you just had to sign up for a year. You can pay by the month or pay for the whole year and get one of the months for free. I ordered one today and it should be here monday. The Panasonic kit is the one i ordered. While reading about how to hook it up it says that if your radio has an aux input then you can use that instead of the FM Modulator. Does this work with an aux that isn't Satellite ready? I have an aux input that i'm not using on my Pioneer 9200. If anyone knows let me know. Can't beat free stuff.

Thank you very much to whoever put the link to that thread here. I'm going to order the Panasonic model for my girlfriends 2003.
If I didn't just have my XM equipment installed on my car, I'd get a set for myself.
