Damn you DanNy, start making the 3rd gens.

I had a HUGE influence on selling your manifold set up Derrick didnt know about turbos, and I talked him in to it on a bright sunny CA day. You are a 3rd gen owner, so you should do it NOW!

Although I see why you did 4th gen first, demand and all...damn civics, err...I mean Maximas.

3RD GEN!

question:

Can the thread be sewn all the way to the top of the shift boot? Or can a 'rim' be made? I dont like how the fabric is just folded down and how you can see where the thread 'crosses over' or 'ends'

The stock boot folds over and is secured with a ring at the top. I asume this one could be installed the same way.

oh ok well mine is missing a ring, does this boot come with the ring at the top? Or can they just sew the top of the boot so it forms a 'rim'

the leather material is too thick for the stock ring. you'll need to zip tie the boot to the top of the shifter.

So are the brown ebrake boots a go or are they still a maybe?

Just curious, does the stock grey interior have a black ebrake boot? What where the interior colors black, grey, beige, any more?

Come on, only twenty three more

2 more it will be $50 shipped. i rather you get the set because getting one and not the other will look mismatched. this is for leather..the OEM boots are not.

UPDATE-3

Thanks to all who are in the GD. we now have 20 orders so the price is at $50..
-add $3 for 4way and quad orders
-$31 for ebrake orders only

For those who are in the GD payment will be accepted starting Monday 4/14 and last day to make payment will be Friday 4/18. I will send out emails to everyone who is in the GD to confirm order and price starting Monday.

For those of you that still want to be in this GD you can join this GD until 4/14, after that the price will go back to the normal $60 for the set and $35 for ebrake.

Thanks!

Just heard from Maciek...
The Brown is a definite go..the material matches the center console.
So if you're looking to get just the ebrake in brown or the set it's no problem.
Thanks all!

ok Thanx, now would it make sense, to get quad and/or 4way stitching with this combo? (being that the thread is color matched to the leather).... I cant really picture how this would look.

well you can't really see it that much since it's so low. in low/dim light you'll not even notice it. in bright sunny day you'll see the pattern. it's basically your call on that one.

Personally I was toying with the idea of black leather shift boot with brown thread and brown leather ebrake boot with black thread. I personally think that would look fabulous in these interior. But you guys need to make that call. My experience tells me it could look very interesting.

Take care,
Maciek

I would need pics to get a clear image in my head, like just lay the thread over the leather so I can see the two tone combo...
