Thank you all for being patient. Just to let you all know, my stupid sander broke on me and I'm getting a new one tomorrow, nonetheless, the products are STILL being made. I'm just going to need to spend a couple extra hours to do the sanding and priming, it won't postpone the completion of this project that much. My next update will be when I'm very near completion (or if you guys ask questions or something that needs answering) since there isn't really anything new that's going to happen other than one product per day. How about some unfinished pics of where you're at, at this point?

 

Are you going to send these out as you make them, or do we all have to wait until you're finish with the 20-25 pieces? (Please say you're going to ship them as you make them, or at least for the guys that fronted the money).

 

First off, I'm dieing to get access to a digi cam right now. Secondly, I will start shipping as soon as the preorders are all filled. Meaning, as soon as everyone's order is done (that preordered) I will make a stop at USPS (a very long one too) take care of everything, then go home and start working on the rest. - Jitek

okay dude, I felt funny trusting somone younger than me born in 85 when I'm 20. If you take peoples money you need to deliver the goods. Here it is 2 months later and still no product.

Why not post it here? We all make mistakes so if there is a problem with the eye lids, don't worry, most of us will understand. If you're saying you can't make them, then that's fine, give us the chance to get our money back.

OK, I'll just put it out here. This is pretty embarrasing. Wether you guys believe it or not, is up to you. A while back (my cousin was with me during this phone call) I talked to the guy that's going to make the molds for me. I've done some small body work through him and he did an amazing job. In my mind, he can be trusted. He wanted me to bring in the car, so I told him my cousin is willing to do so. After a couple hours he tells me that all he really needs are a "mold" of the eyelids out of fiberglass, so I made him a really strong fiberglass mold (which my cousin can back up as well). Simply put, I got screwed. I gave the guy $3000 ($2000 out of my pocket) to make the molds (hoping that I'd be able to make the $2000 back plus a profit. He made me the molds (taking forever might I add). I finally got the molds and started to lay fiberglass. A buddy of mine just bought a maxima so I figured I'd test fit the first couple on his. I mean, these things were suppose to fit like a glove. I test fitted them and there was no way they were going on. The curve between the front of the front of the headlight and the top were completely off. Basically, if you laid the front on then the top would snap if you tried to lay it flat, and vice versa. Something's wrong here. So I call up my guy and he doesn't pick up the phone. I call him about ever thirty minutes for about 4 hours and he doesn't pick up. So I go to his house and he's not there. I go to his house EVERY day and he's not there. There are two outcomes 1) he's on vacation with the $3000 or 2) he's on a VERY VERY VERY long vacation with $3000. I figure it's number two and I got screwed. Now, I'm working my a$$ off and trying to come up with money to pay you guys back. Plus, I get really good deals on bulbs so I'm gonna try to send you guys some bulbs as a kind of "I'm sorry I f*cked up" type of thing. Terry, if you read this ... please laugh at me at work and tell me I'm dumb. Better yet, call me and tell me cause I probably deserve it. Argh .. I'm sorry guys. E-mail me with current info and I'll pay you guys back ASAP.

 

Dude, this is serious. I'm sorry you got screwed for your money so I'm hoping you're not going to do the same to us. I would really like to get this matter settled ASAP.
What are you going to offer us guys that already gave you money? I don't want any bulbs, just my money back. Fair and simple.

 

Jitek, sorry that your guy took off (or so it seems). This is really a 'lose-lose' situation. I appreciate that you will refund our money.

Maybe he'll show up somewhere....got any pics of him so if any of us see him we can beat the shiet out of him???

BlackMax005spd .. thank you for your offer, but I feel it's only right if I give you your money back. I can't really take a guy to small claims court if no one knows where he is. I've already filled out a police report on this guy. He's gone. BlackMax005Spd, it seems like you really don't need the money so would it be ok if I pay you back last? Yea, it is a lose lose. My fault for trusting this guy. I'll let you guys know if I do find him. And I'll give you the guys address too. We can have a meet and beat the sh*t out of him together ... barbq and beef afterwards ... argh ... ok, I guess the payback is gonna start now.
