Anyway, the GR-2's retail for anywhere between $350-470.
P.S. I'm not affiliated with Jessica and her company. Just looking out for special deals for fellow enthusiasts

I'm not so familiar with the Progress, but they should be pretty good - probably won't be as bouncy as the Tein's from what i heard.
Given you'll be going with 20's later on, you probably don't want to get too harsh of a suspension set-up.
I just swapped my OEM's with an 18" set-up w/ low profile tires and the ride already gets a bit harsher on bad roads - which we have a lot of here in Houston as well.
Now i'm not so sure if i should install my Maxspeed/GR-2 combo.

for those of you who've ordered them, but sure that this company gets your shipping info correct.
I purchased two rear kyb agx's for my 97 on sept 3rd i believe, and they were shipped out sept 5th.
to make a long story short, it went to my hometown in PA, but sat there without moving for 4 days. I corrected the zip code error given by the company, but for some reason...it moves out of PA to Chicago, then to Wisconsin. As of today, the 20th, i am not expected to get my shipment until the 25th.
It was partially fed ex's fault, but be sure they get your correct info!

From what i've read, they'll match up just fine. Comfort-wise, some people prefer the Maxspeeds - although it may not be as low a drop as the H&R.
Again, this is pretty subjective and comparing them - although all apples - is pretty tough.
Do you know of anyone around your area that has either installed? If so, try getting a feel for the ride.

These are still good as of last time i talked to Jessica.
The GR-2's will fit the 2k2 while the AGX is the non-modified one (e.g. only 4th gen).
As for the ride, i can't say anything about it personally as i still have mine gathering dust

I've seen a lot of people pair up the GR2 with the Maxspeeds with no issues.
There's a thread over on the 5th gen forums of the Maxspeeds causing weird noises, but it seems the issue is caused more by improper seating of the springs to the shock (aftermarket or OEM).
Kloogy has this setup IIRC, so did Triple8Sol - though T8S just swapped his Maxspeeds for the lower drop Teins.

Just an FYI to you guys. Jessica's store sells these same struts on eBay.
Look here. Click on the "View Seller's Other Items" link on that page if the auction has ended. They're constantly having auctions for these struts.
I won an auction with them and got my GR-2's for $260, plus $19 shipping, so my shipped price was $279 ($6 less than the GD price). Here's a link to the auction I won
They shipped them promptly and I have no complaints.
Not trying to hi-jack the GD thread, but since it's from the same people, and if you can save $6 or more off the GD price, why not check it out?
BTW, I have my GR-2's combined with Eibach Pro-kit springs, and I love the drop/ride now. Highly recommend that setup.

Worth placing a bid to find out if you're looking at buying these struts.
$285 shipped is still a great deal. But i'm the kind of person who wants to get the absolute best deal. Even if it's only $1, it's worth the extra bit of effort to me
